I hope this okay for me to ask here and if not I apologize. But I have a question about sex. I've been working out daily for almost a month now and it's amazing how much better I feel in general. But something I've noticed is that sex is better. Let's just say there seems to be a more frequent pay off for me now then before and the payoff is amazing (even after 18 years):blushing: . Does this have anything to do with my working out now?
And another question while I'm on this subject. I'm usually a pretty early to bed person. I'm usually asleep by 10:30 or 11:00. Last night after great sex I was so wide awake and so full of energy I got back up and cleaned my house, washed dishes, done laundry and got on the computer and had to make myself go to bed later. I was just amazed by how wide awake and energized I was. What I wondered was if my body during sex got hyped and ready for exercise and that is why I felt like that. KWIM? I've just been wondering about it because I've never noticed feeling like that before. I told DH if I felt like that every time we had sex I would be knocking him down as soon as he walked in the door in the evenings. LOL.
Hope this didnt' offend anyone. I just wanted to ask because I have seriously been wondering about this all morning. I'm figuring if I'm right and this is related to my workouts then that is just that much more reason to keep at it. LOL.

You didn't offend me...it's a good question. I guess when you exercise, your body releases endorphins, and the same thing happens after good sex. Your healthier lifestyle is giving you the energy to have a great sex life...enjoy it!!:happy:0

It's b/c you're working out and your self esteem & energy is great b/c of you working out.
I know how you feel girl!
Enjoy the feeling.
You're feeling this way now... imagine in about a month?

I would sure use it as motovation. The after sex thing was those endorphines kicking in. Did you know that sex is great medicine. All these women who always used to put thier husband off cause they had a headache well that is the best time to have sex it gets the blood flowing there for you get more oxygen to the brain and it helps to releave that headache. Go for it and count it as a little extra exercise.

You are feeling better and more confident and apparently your husband is feeling it too! You are not alone in the having to make yourself go to bed after sex, more women than men experience a burst of energy after sex, men get relaxed adn find it easy to get to sleep (lucky them!).
If you ask me, the reward you are getting (besides getting healthier) is all worth it!
Keep it up, you are going great.0 -
Same thing here... I think it's also the increased blood flow through out the body also!...
:blushing:
Enjoy it...

Wow thanks for all the quick responses. I really felt like it was better because of my working out so I'm glad to know I was right. Great incentive to keep working hard!
And it's great to have such a wonderful message board available where you can ask this type of question without causing an uproar! Thanks everyone!
