the only form I like, swimming, requires a pool. Simple as that.
AGAIN:
Oh wow the only form you like is swimming, that means you've tried it all, so would you be so kind to answer the following:
so how much did you Clean&Jerk
How much was your turkish get up
How did you like farmer walks
Much many kips did you get in a row
How did you like those natural GHR's
Did you use a sumo stance when you flipped tires

I hate to say it but it really feels like you are making excuses, don't limit yourself so much, get your self out there!0 -
You would think the OP was talking about how much she hates puppies the way this conversation has gone.0

Exercise sucks at times!
I hateee the exercise bike, its so boring but until i get my house in a few weeks and get the treadmill set up thats all i have.
I dont think anyone truly loves to exercise lol0 -
I don't like exercising. But I know I need to do it. Just learned about Tabata. It was AWESOME! Short workout....but it got my heart rate up.0

I really have fun with Just Dance for Wii. Especially if you have someone to do it with you. I bet I burn twice as many calories from lauhing at my DS. There is also a Zumba for Wii, I've heard lots of good things about that from some other exercise haters. Swimming is fun. I like to play touch football when the weather allows. It doesn't feel like exercise at all! Sometimes thinking outside of the exercise box will lead you to something you find enjoyable.0

ceilidh92 have you looked into padded shorts? My DH has almost no rear end and as much as he loved riding dirtbikes, it was painful when he rode for a very long time. He bought these shorts that he wears underneath his riding gear, they look almost like bike shorts but they have a lot of padding in the butt and thigh area. He even wears them when we take long trips on the Harley because, like you, the extra padded seats didn't help. Just a thought! I don't know where he bought them, but I'm assuming it was a motocross site online. I can ask if you are interested.0

Has anyone thought of this from a physiological point of view? Many of the responders commented that they don't get the endorphin high. Maybe there is some biological truth to this?
We are all unique individuals. Those of you who do not like exercise, but continue to do, must be getting little to no endorphin rush. Those of you who love exercise may be getting more.
Just like there are people who have super sensitive taste buds and don't like vegetables, no matter how they are prepared. They are just programmed that way.
I would challenge anyone who is a current grad student of Exercise Science or something similar to look into this. I think it would make for a great dissertation.0
