I looooove PB&J or meatball subs, but health-wise, I usually stick to a turkey and spinach sandwich on whole grain wheat with mustard sandwich.

Love the title of this post!

I like smoked turkey on rye spread with 1 laughing cow light garlic and herb wedge or light cream cheese, and topped with cucumbers and red onions.

Turkey breast and salami with Havarti cheese and spicy brown mustard. A little onion, tomato and lettuce served with pepperoncini's.

Now ask me what I like to stick between my breasts...

Cajun Chicken and Colby Jack Cheese (if I have Spinach leaves I throw those in, too.)

    Grilled Cheese

    Peanut Butter

Peanut Butter and Marshmallows (fluff kind or whole mini's)

Black Pepper Turkey and Colby Jack Cheese (if I have Spinach leaves I throw those in, too.)

If it's toasted bread, turkey bacon <3

Oh... I cant believe this topic hasnt gone into the gutter faster than this.......... So since we are still on real sandwiches

    >>> Fried SPAM & CHEESE w/ Mayo!!

And Dont say Yuck! :noway: You know you all secretly crave it too!! lol

Granted, I haven't had one in about 10 years

Not for lack of trying, I put in my opinion. I actually LOVE spam. I dont eat it now of course...... havent had one in about 5 years, but I do love me some spam.

I'm a sandwich snob. I like only certain types of breads, buns, etc. for example, at Safeway I get their Western Club, consisting of:

    Ciabatta Bread
    Lettuce
    Light Mayo
    Honey Mustard
    Bacon
    Havarti Cheese
    Black Forest Ham
    Red Onion
    Extra Green Peppers
    S&P

    or from Subway I get:

    6'' Oven Roasted Chicken Breast
    Italian Herb and Cheese Bread
    Whatever cheese, I like both
    Bacon
    Lettuce
    Tomato
    Red Onion
    Green Pepper
    (Shredded carrots when they offered)
    Black Olives
    S&P

Notice a pattern? I basically eat the same stuffed thing in different variations, LOL.

BUT i've been trying to snob myself down, a few weeks back I had a Roast Beef sandwich on Rye with horseradish mayo. But I didn't like the Horseradish, toooooooooooooo hot. Oi, like burning in your nose hot..

I'm too snobby for plain old grilled cheese, I like a good grilled cheese on a good bread. BUT I can do the basic PB&Jam, but I like a tsp of Honey on there too.

    I'm so spoiled...lol. :P

    *few moments of indiscreet ideas*

    Moving right along...

The other day, we had a black bean burger on ciatta bread. That was a good "bun"... I ate about a fourth of it, since I generally don't eat that much bread, but it was really good.

As a sandwich, I'm pretty addicted to tempeh facon, lettuce, and tomato with a little Veganaise on toast... I can sub avocado for the veganaise easily...

If I get started on breads/buns, I might not stop with the carbs, so I just don't.

All the miracle whip comments totally made me GAG! I hate miracle whip, I'm more of a light mayo kind of girl. Then the spam comments about threw me over the egde lol.

    Anyway I like:

Peanut butter (must be Jif creamy) and any kind of preserves

At Subway: Turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, light mayo and EXTRA banana peppers on whole wheat

Or the Diablito: Turkey, Jalapeno Cream Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato and Onion on Jalapeno Cheddar FredBread at my favorite sandwich place back home called Happy Tummy http://www.mmmhappytummy.com/

ETA: I just had a Nathan's Beef hot dog on a slice of toasted whole wheat with sweet relish, dijon mustard, and banana peppers for lunch and it was so good!

I'd double check on that.. they just opened one in Fort Worth and they have a bunch opening soon according to their website :)

It really is the best sandwich around... Subway and JJ's got nothing on Jersey Mikes!

I really like banana and mayonaisse sandwiches........ but nothing beats a spicy hot sausage!!!!!!! *drool* I love the ones that when you heat them up they get all plump, and you put it in your mouth and the grease oozes out and down your chin!! I could NEVER be a vegetarian!

How many thousand creepy FRs did you get today?
