Number of steps

Today was my first day with pedometer - I did a total of 8437 steps. Unfortunately I cleared it before seeing the calorie count :( Does anyone have a good guesstimate as to how to figure out the calorie count?

    Options
    Google "calories burned" and "pedometer" and you'll get to several helpful sites--I use one at about.com. Enter your steps, your weight, and hit calculate and you'll find your answer.
