I, like others here, do the pita pizza, good for lunch and stuff.
Then, if it's for dinner, I make my own regular pizza dough, and like mentioned by a poster above, I just roll it really thin. I make mine veggie all the time, but now and then buy turkey pepperoni.
Being able to have pizza while I lose weight makes me smile!

I use Sarah Lee 45 calorie multi-grain bread. Toast.

Spread pizza sauce on the toast.

Add 3 or 4 slices of turkey pepperoni. Only 70 calories for 17 pieces.

    Sprinkle lightly with cheese.

I usually have the oven heated to 450-475 and bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

I like to toast the bread first so I don't end up with soggy pizzas :)

Here's a great pizza crust recipe. I make it on weekends and keep it in the freezer.

I use this recipe as a base: http://www.southbeachdiet.com/sbd/publicsite/recipes/Whole-Wheat-Pizza-Margherita.aspx

But I add extra tomatoes, green bell peppers, onions, a few olives (they're high in calories), sometimes turkey pepperoni, seasonings such as garlic and red pepper, and extra cheese. I also make the crust as thin as possible since it really packs on the calories. Additionally, I have started baking the crust for ten minutes before I add the ingredients, otherwise it doesn't cook all the way through and gets soggy from all of the extra veggies. Enjoy!!

I did not look to see where you live but we have a place here in North Carolina called CC's Pizza. I found out by looking at their site they have a pizza called Vegetable Italiano and it only has 90 cals per slice, much less than other pizzas. I went to have some and it was great. With two pieces and just 45 cals from my 1/2 cup salad I was a very happy girl! I wish I had known about the Vegetable Italiano all the other times I pigged out there! Ha!! I am so happy to learn about that!

I love grilling pizzas. My favorite is
fresh basil, tomato, garlic, and some
mozzorella. I just use a little red sauce
    from Del Monte.

At least this is how I used to do it. I may
have to look to lower sodium sauce, or
just make my own marinara. (Tweak it
a little because of MFP) LOL

I usually divide a pound of dough in to 1/3's,
just makes it easier to handle.

Brush olive oil on the side to be cooked:
Only takes a couple of minutes. Close the
    lid on low heat.

When the first side is cooked, brush
olive oil on the raw side, and flip it on
to a plate, or a pan.

Top the now cooked side, and return
to the grill. It doesn't take long to cook.

I cook them with the lid down, and the
    burners pretty low.

Guess I can't post pics here....

i make my own pizza, i'll either buy Boboli wheat crust ( or if im super motivated Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free pizza crust). i'll put on ragu homestyle sause and top that with fat free shredded mozzerella, ground turkey, green peppers, and onions.

but make it ur own! if u want chicken n broccoli have that!

maybe even spinach and feta cheese! so many different combinations and its sooo easy to do at home and be healthier :)

I make my own too. If you don't have a greasy meat and use less cheese, it really isn't very greasy at all. I like mine with mushrooms and black olives or green chile and green olives. Also, when I was a girl, we used to do a version of mini pizzas on english muffins with sauce, cheese, and toppings, and then we would toast them in the toaster oven (or you could broil it if you don't have a toaster oven).

*Thanks, but I still can't get it to work...

**I thought taking out the %20 would fix it.

*** Ok, I had to redownload the picture from
photobucket, rename it, then reupload to PB.
Then change the IMG to img! *** :glasses:

Anyway, this is the process. The crust turns out
    thin and crisp.

    Again, thanks for the help!!!!
