Workouts during time of the month!

OMG! I get a very very heavly flow and a lot of bad cramps. My legs and body are more sore now then after a workout! and the worst part is I have gallstones, so when my period is here, pain from the gallstones hurt 2 times as much!
How can I work out with so much pain going on? Maybe I need help and someone to just push me and make me workout, but its just do hard!
Right now I am drinking Aleve, hoping that by the time I go home and eat dinner, I can do at least an hour on the Kinect!

  • Working out during TOM for me has the opposite effect for me. It helps my cramps go away, and I drink more water then so my muscles aren't so sore. Sorry you are going through this.
  • I am hoping that when I get home, I am able to work out and hoping that it will help my cramps go away! I thought since I drink so much water that it would help my soreness, but it doesnt! I drink abput 8-14 cups of water a day.
