6'0", 254lbs, size 18, although I bought all my pants when I was 5-6 lbs heavier so they are a little loose now, I could probably squeeze into a 16 if I tried. XXL in shirts although that one varies greatly.0

I went to a store called "Katie" the other day, and WHOLE store was ONE-SIZE! I looked at the sales associate and said: "What is this manufacturer thinking? We are NEVER one-size fits all." I couldn't buy a thing that I was comfortable in, cause I am not a size 2! I am 5' 4" and 144 lbs -- just got into wearing a size 8 pants and a medium top.0

I 'm 5 ft 6.
I was:
size 8 at 160 (and VERY fit)
size 10 at 177
size 16 at 215
size 22 at 247 (now).
ETA: These were pre-pregnancy sizes. I have no idea what I'l be in on the down trip, but I bet I'm going to have to be less than 160 to get back in an 8.
US sizes here.
Shirt sizes are different, thanks to the "girls" I was never much less than a large.0 -
5ft 6 166 pounds.
UK size 10-12 (mainly a 10), US 8. Size 16, US 12 bottom half, although I do get into some 14s, US 10. I however do not wear trousers as my shape just does not suit them. i did however buy a size 14 playsuit the other day so I am slowly starting to catch up size wise.0 -
5'8 140 pounds and I am usually a 4 in most stores. Every store is different though!0

I am 5'6" and at 211 wore a 16, now at 200 they are getting to be too big. Planning on trying some 14's soon!0

I'm 5'4 and weigh 283 lbs and wear a size 20 jeans very comfortably. I have always been muscular and am told I "carry my weight well" In other words my body doesn't look like what I weigh. At my heaviest weight of 315lbs I wore a size 24, 26 and once a 28 depending on the brand and cut. At my smallest of aprox. 180 I wore a size 10.0

I honestly have no idea what my pants size anymore. For the longest time I could only buy one specific brand of pants, size 7, short. They were the only pants that fit me well and weren't too long. A year or so ago they changed the sizing, before my weight loss a size 9 short fit snuggly and was still too long. Now the 7s are getting a little baggy on me, the 9s fit really well, and I got two new pairs of pants over the holidays, both from The Loft. One is a size 4 the other is a size 6. Both were a little too long as well. I hate having the weirdest body type for pants.
I'm 5'4" and currently at 128lbs. My start weight was 145, but usually I sat closer to 135 or 140. At 145 I actually ended up buying a size 10 from New York and Co I'm hoping to get to 120 or 115, since I have a small frame. Maybe then I can find jeans that fit.0 -
HAHA I Love this.. OK.. so before I was 5'10' 350 lbs and I was a 26/28 in pants, 2-3X for shirts Now I am 5'10 157 lbs and a size 10 semi loose and even got into a 8 with a M for a shirt YAY YAY YAY0

size 14 fits loosely on my legs, but perfectly around my tummy.
I'm trying to get my abs right so I can comfortably get my legs and my stomach in the same pair of pants.0 -

5'8" weight 240 Pant size 20...i have a pair of size 18 dress pants I fit into but they are pretty snug. lol0
-
Before: 5'3" 150 lbs. size 10 (some pants were tight) and a Lg. top.
Now: Still 5'3" but sitting at 131 lbs. headed to 125. Wearing a size 8 pants, and typically a medium top.
Definitely see variation among various jeans makers with their sizing....I'm not sure there's any "one size" as you have pointed out!!0 -
i just had a baby six weeks ago. im 5' 2" weigh 175 and am in a size 13 but before i was preggo i weighed 158 and wore a size 100

I'm 5 foot 6, around 170 pounds, and I wear a 10...in about 10-15 more pounds i'll be back in my 8/9 pants...but in about 20 pounds they won't fit right-they'll fit my hips and butt and not my waist. When i'm at a normal weight, my waist is about 10 inches smaller than my hips and bust...so when I put on a pair of pants, they fit my hips and rear end great, but the waistband is all loose. It's really annoying to find pants that fit. I've heard they make pants for "curvy girls" but they all seem to be expensive brands and I just can't justify that in my budget. My fave pants that I can't wait to fit into again are an American Eagle size 8-they actually fit mostly well, and the waistband only gaps a little when i'm at a decent weight (unlike some other pants i've tried on where they fit in the hips/butt and the waistband gaps like 2 inches). Sure would be nice to find pants that fit my hips AND my waist that didn't break the bank!0

Its funny how people who are only about 1-2 inches taller than me and weigh the same weight are a significantly smaller size. Thanks for starting this topic!0 -
