Yeah yeah I get it, we are all different shapes and sizes, but I was just curious and wanted to ask the question...

I'm 5'6" tall and weigh 10 stone 8 pounds (148lbs) and I wear size 12 (UK) clothes as I'm not quite in size 10 yet....

How about you???

5'5", between 190-195 (I seem to be bouncing and can't get any lower) - generally a US size 12.

It's 2 sizes different between UK and US, so if you're a size 14 in the UK you're a size 10 in the US (one reason to buy US clothes and not cut out the labels  )

I'm 5' 2", 158lbs, UK size 14 on the bottom and 16 on the top.

I'm 5'3", weighing 207lb...i'm around a 14-18...depending on shop...an average size 16 differs in 4inches depending on the shop...and sometimes within the shop. I have a size 14 top from Mataland which is huge and a size 18 that is tight...go figure!

I hate how sizing differs...wish i was in America - two sizes "less" heaven!

See this is what's so crazy! I'm same stats as u more or less but I'm a Size 12- no hope in hell of being an 8! I was a Size 12 16lb ago too (maybe 14 in some tops).

It must be to do with body frame/build?

    5'4 129 lbs., US size 4.
  • I am 5'8" 166 lbs, US 6-8 (UK 10-12)
  • 38 years young
    5'5
    131.5 pounds
    U.S size 4
  • I'm 1.8m, 114kgs and size 20 (aus)
I cried in the shop the other day when I was buying new work clothes, because usually I'm a size 16 and it was just a shock to my system because I knew I had let myself go, but I didn't realise it was that much,

    Size 8 US

I went jean shopping this weekend. Was in the dressing room and couldn't get a pair over my thighs. I was so bummed. But then I looked at the size - It was a 2! I have no idea how I grabbed a 2 but then I was really thrilled I could even get a pair of skinny 2's over my calves! I have no interest in being that small again but it was funny my change of perspective based on the size.
  • I'm not that much familiar with US dress sizes except on pants size but I currently wear dress sizes small (mostly european/US size) to medium (asian size).
  • 5 foot 1, I weight about 13.5 stone (that about 190 lbs US or about 87- ish kilos )...

    I wear a UK dress size 10/12, jeans size 12/14, jacket size 12/14, tops/blouses size 8,10,12....

It varies but those are the variables I'm working with at the moment. Not really bothered about my clothes size just want to see myself tight and fit again regardless of weight and size, so long as it all good in all the right places ;o)
  • 5'8 - 138 at the moment.

I wear a size 6 in most stores.

I'm 5'5" and 122lbs. I wear a US size 4 in pants and usually a S or XS in shirts. Was looking for some new snow pants the other day. My daughter needed some too. We were at Target. Found girls snow pants on clearance (she's 9 years old). Picked up a pair for her then got to thinking hmm....I wonder if the largest "girls" size would fit me. Picked up a pair of 14/16 and they worked perfectly. Only $10 too!
