EATING my PINT of ICE CREAM...

  • I personally find Arctic Zero to be quite tasteless and gross. However, I LOVE Carbawhey soft serve style! There's a low carb market close by my place that makes it, and it's DELICIOUS! So much better than Arctic Zero. I'm just lucky to be in close proximity of the store, cause it doesn't look like there are many places that serve it soft-serve style.

I might have to give Arctic Zero another shot though, maybe I just tried the wrong flavors. =)

You know that the Carbawhey softserve is made by the same company that makes Arctic Zero right? I used to get it when I lived out in LA. But I'm a big fan of their pints because it's all natural and has more protein in it.

bought the chocolate and chocolate and peanut butter today at a specialty grocery store 60 miles away. I was impressed it didn't get all soft and melty on the 90 minute ride home LOL

I paid $3.69 each. Thats a little cheaper than ben and jerry's.

    Will try some tomorrow.

If its good, I'll stock up this summer (if its still around). If its not good, oh well...at least I tried.

I'm not much of an ice cream snob so anything cold and tastes like chocolate should be ok with me. I KNOW its not real ice cream...that's half the battle.

Ok, I'm a believer! This was in stock in my King Soopers (same as Krogers) just a couple of minutes away and they had a lot of different flavors. It was 4.30 (not 6.50 as some posted), but keep in mind I live in a really high cost of living area, so in other locations it may be even cheaper. I got cookies n' cream, chocolate peanut butter, chocolate mint, and vanilla maple. I just stuck my finger in all of them to see what they tasted like when I got home (with all the mixed reviews here I didn't want to wait!) and I was very impressed! Of course it does not taste like Ben and Jerry's, it is diet ice cream. But I think it does take like ice cream and not some "frozen product" or italian ice as others have mentioned. As long as you're not expecting it to taste like Ben and Jerry's I think you'll be fine. I thought the vanilla maple was absolutely delcious, and the cookies n' cream was really good too. The chocolate peanut butter was good but probably not something I'd get again, and the only one I wasn't too impressed with was the mint. The only downside is I couldn't find sugar free chocolate syrup in the store, but I'm sure walmart carries that. I did get some sugar free caramel which I thought might taste good with the vanilla maple. I am very excited to eat one of these (the whole pint!) for dessert tonight! Mine was a little softer when I tasted it due to finishing up my shopping/getting home from the store, so I'd bet the OP's suggestion to put it in the microwave for 30 seconds would have the same good effect. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I ate vanilla maple tonight! I microwaved it for 35 seconds and then really, really stirred it up for several minutes (I'm talking major arm workout stirring) and made it into the consistency of frozen yogurt! I swear, it tasted 100% like "real" frozen yogurt!

I love this! I got the chocolate (just okay...kind of tasted like the sugar free fudge pops), coffee (not too bad...better with some sf choc syrup), cookies and cream (pretty good as long as you eat it in the dark cuz it's a funny color!) and vanilla maple (freaking delicious!) I have no idea what I paid, but they were worth it...had a few spoonfuls of each flavor and my cravings are satisfied and I didn't get sick! :-)

    Thank you!

...Actually you can go right to Arc tic Zeros website and they have a store locator. ..

I am NOT believing this! Their headquarters is in the city where I live. I wonder if they're hiring.

    :-)
