Thought I would start this thread and see how it goes here, was my favorite thread when i was part of the Biggest Loser .
We post our excercise and our calories for the day, and use it to motivate and inspire , and support each other.

Today - treadmill 40 mins - 380 cals
Zumba 30 mins - 210 calls

    Hi Maz,

    I had a short gym session today -

    Treadmill 20 minutes
    Cross Trainer 5 minutes (not good on my knee's)
    Recumbent Bike 10 minutes

    Burnt 309 calories

    Today was a circuit, 30 exercises @ 1 minute each with 30 seconds inbetween (plus a warmup and cool down). Mix of weights and Cardio sprints.

    About 580 cals according to my HRM for an hours work.

    Today was my desperately needed rest day (it had been like 10 days).

    Yesterday I did Fire 45 from Turbo Fire and a Shaun T cardio video.

    Calories burned yesterday: 447

    Hi Pickles and Rayman,

    I used to use the Biggest Loser site to track my calories. When my membership ended I swapped over to the Calorie King site but it's not as user friendly as this site seems to be.

    Looking forward to hearing how everyone is doing! :smile:

    According to my heart rate monitor I burned 546 calories today doing 30 minutes of Jillian Michael's "Ripped in 30" DVD. But according to MFP it should've only been about 340 calories.. So I'm really wondering if my HRM is accurate or not. But yeah.. =]

    I always go with what my HRM says because it is working on my Heart Rate whereas MFP is a guestimate!

    That's true. :) I just thought the numbers were quite different so I wasn't sure if I should trust the higher number. I've just been averaging between the two lately so I make sure i don't overestimate my calories burned. But maybe I should trust my HRM a little bit more. =]

    squat 65kg (143lbs) x 4
    star jump x2
    ground and pound x2

    30kg (66lb) Clean & press x2

    16kg (35lb) kb left swing, right swing, left snatch, right snatch, cannon balls, two hand swing, left snatch, right snatch.

    No idea on cals.

    I ran 7K today in 40 mins and burned about 350 calories. It felt good!

    No gym for me today but had a 45min taekwondo class. No idea what I burn since the classes are different every day.

    Today I definitely overdid it.

    I did Turbo Fire Hiit 15 and Hiit 20, Turbo Fire Sculpt 30, and a 60 minute soccer game (probably played about half).

    Total I burned close to 700 calories (though the soccer game was more intense than usual and I didn't wear the HRM during the game this time).

    I have some eating to do.
  • Had a really bad day fitness and eating wise yesterday. Took the kids and dogs to the beach, and they did lots of running but not me. Also didn't eat real well, although i just come under my daily calories but didn't eat the right things. Oh well today a new day

    Treadmill 20 mins, jog/walk intervals - 195 cals
    Zumba abs workout 30 mins - 208 cals

    Total = 403

    Still got to ride the horse tonite

    Roller Skating for 40mins - 466

    Today I did Turbo Fire 55ez (NOT easy) and Abs 10. I burned 395 calories. My shin is killing me though, I'm not sure what I'll do about that.

    An hour of yard work today. Mowing etc. Learnt how to use the whipper snipper, woohoo!! That was a serious bicep workout, lol. Burnt 233 calories. Have to do the other side of the back yard tomorrow.
  • Bri- how were the arms the next day :) Best thing about working in the yard is burn heaps of cals while getting work done!

    Today zumba abs workot 30 mins= 211 cal, walked the dogs 40 mins = 321cals total for today 532 cals. Trying to get the otivation to go and ride the horse.

    Today I just did the elliptical for 40 mins and burned 330 calories. I am trying to heal my shin. No pain today!
  • Rode my horse for 1.5 hrs today, 15 mins cleaning paddocks, then went and rode a young girl horse thats been giving her a bit of trouble for another hr then gave her 40 min lesson. Dont know how many cals burnt, but my legs are killing me lol

    Hi All,

    Weigh in today and I had a loss of 3.6kg. Not a real loss because my weigh in last week was after a big weekend of eating so it was most likely that and fluid retention. Anyway, I'm please with that loss.

    45 minutes on the treadmill at the gym today burnt 372 calories.
  • Hi bri - a loss is a loss, don't look to much into it :) , just take it as a job well done this week! well done at the gym

    Today i had a 3hr house cleaning job, then cleaned my horses paddock. Too hot for anything else, hopefully a walk tonight with the dogs.

    I don't know.........I've done Kenpo X before, and I swear I burned more.........at least that's how my quads, hams, and calves were feeling afterwards.

    I used a hrm. I do sweat but I feel like some of the moves don't bring up my heart rate much like the slower kicks. Also I do turbo fire so I'm used to all the punches and then some. I kept looking at my watch to see and my hr was not that high for the most part.
  • This morning was supposed to be going gym but couldn't get mum to babysit, so treadmill 25 mins incling, jogging/walk intervals , 260 cals, zuba abs workout 25 mins 180 cals total 440 cals. off to the pool this arvo and then ride the horse tonite, so should burn a few more before the day is out
