I'm seeing a lot of Maries. Mine is Maria. Just a letter different but equally common.

It was Lynn, so original parents, never really liked it. When I got married I changed it to my maiden name. I have such a sense of pride in my family that I didn't want to give it up, but I am traditional enough that I wanted the same last name as my husband, but I did not want a double or hyphenated last name. I love it now.
Thats the same thing i did...and i love it

  • My middle name is May. After my mum and my great nana. My niece also has the same middle name :)
I don't mind it... Except when some people write my name as Chelsea-May instead of just Chelsea...

Middle name is Yvonne, which is what I've always been called.
Not much fun going through school being forced to answer to my first name. Come on people, be a little flexible will ya?

Come to think about it, 2 of my siblings also go by their middle names....hmmm....

Anne :) My name on facebook is my middle name, and most people know me by it. I also wear a bracelet everyday with my first and middle name on it. I love it much more than my last name.

Jean.. Its my moms middle name also and was my grandmothers first name.. On another note, we did the same thing with my son. His middle name is the same as my husbands and my FIL has it as his first name.
We sorta did that son has his dads first name as a middle name (Jeffrey Allen) and his dad has his dad's first name as his middle, Allen Robert, so my daughter in law kept the tradition and my grandson has his dad's first name as his middle Trevor Jeffrey

My middle name is Jo, I like it, I think it makes me sound like a country girl even though I've never even rode a horse ... I did corral a cow back into the fence once, by accident... but the farmer said I was natural. :o)
