    I would say 2. Dont use bread with simple CHO use whole grains. :wink:

    i do use whole wheat and i was hoping it was 2 slices, thats what i was basing my calories on

    Most bread in teh dtabase will have a "1 slice" quantity option - so you just choose however many slices you are using.

    I buy 100% whole wheat sandwich thins instead of sliced bread. One "bun" only has 100 calories in it vs. each slice of bread having about 100 calories.

    I recommend "Sprouted Wheat Bread"......More moist and has a better taste than regular wheat bread. Just sayin'

    I am in love with that pita pocket bread from costco. it's whole wheat, 220 cal per bread. I break it into 2 and make a sandwich with a slice of swiss, 3 oz turkey breast, lettuce and some jalapeno. yummy...
