Stich in side during cardio

Hi all,
Just went for a workout, and I noticed I'm getting a stitch in my side from just doing a simple workout on an elliptical trainer. The one time I did try and run, it was so bad I had to stop.
It only happens on my right side, and that's the only place I've ever had a stitch, from all the times I can remember doing a workout. I thought it was from not being warmed up enough, but it started at around the 12 minute mark of a very easy-going workout.
My only other thought is not being properly hydrated (which I am far from).
Edited to add: Totally forgot the extra "t" in the topic title!
Any other suggestions are appreciated!

I find if I drink too much water or eat too close to a workout that I get something like that...Maybe just sip on some water instead of having a lot right before and during?0

Eating to close to workout can start one off
Also you need to breathe from your stomach, i started doing that i dont get them anymore.0 -
When I drink too much during a workout, I get a stitch. It helps to raise your hands above your head or atleast put them on your head. That usually helps me to get rid of the stitch...I do that when I run sometimes0
