Soo many topics on this!
I have diet coke and vodka when I go out ((about 100 calories))
If the bar has sprite zero or some kind of diet lime soda I get that with tequila and a lime ((also about 100 calories)) It tastes just like a margarita, if not better.
I like to keep them cheaper ((Well drinks))0 -
My choices are:
Beer - Coors Light
Mix - Gin and Diet Tonic with Lime0 -
Vodka lime soda. Yum! And watch out for shots, they can be surprisingly high in calories!0
-
Edit: Oops, double post!0

I have been having shot of vodka mixed with water and then I add in one of those water flavoring packages. I have been enjoying the great value iced tea with lemon. 10 calories if I use the whole package, plus the 69 calories for the grey goose I use0
-
I usually have Michelob Ultra - 95 calories or Vodka with club soda0
-
I used to drink vodka and water and would add mio flavor to it until I read an article which happened to be the same one listed above from sparkpeople that says vodka has been linked to slowing down your metabolism. I usually go for wine. Most wines are 20cal an ounce and just limit the drinks.0

Shots arent usually to bad, but they go down quick so you can stack up a lot of calories fast. Its the chaser if you use one that you have to be really careful with. Just look up the info on whatever you like to drink before you go so you can figure out how many you can have without screwing yourself over in the calorie department. :drinker:0

booze and diet tonic ...
I stay away from the frilly fruity drinks.0 -
Whipped cream vodka and diet orange soda...tastes like a creamsicle and according to MFP whipped cream vodka is 64 calories for 1 ounce0

Thanks guys!!!!0

Enjoy your life and don't worry about sparing 200-300 calories of alcohol.
Just don't turn it into a habit.0 -
These are some great suggestions, even if this question has been reposted this is actually what i wanted to know because I'm having drinks this weekend. Thanks for the help0

I've started a new thing on Fridays that I call my beer run. On days that I know I am going to consume alcohol, I do my normal workout (which is my easiest of the week because it's Friday) and then hit the treadmill and burn an extra 300 which earns me ~2 glasses of wine. I also try to "save" about 200 calories from my food allowance which gives me 500 to work with at the bar. Granted, the best decision would be to skip the booze all together but hey, we're all working hard to look great, gotta go out and show it off every once and a while!0

Red Wine!!! It good for the circulation among other things.
And Just remember alcohol is a toxic!! So consume in moderation and enjoy.0 -
tequila shots. Whatever you consume will be thrown up later.
*not good diet advice*0 -
cranberry vodka. darker liquors are lower in calories but will get you drunk faster. you could do a jack and coke (or diet if you prefer) for under 100 calories - same for cranberry vodka.0

This never works for me.. I used to do 11 tequila shots and not vomit...0 -
jello shots are only 50 per...other shots are SUPER high!!
my fave is captain and diet coke for 90cals
any hard liquor and diet or tonic or water will run you about the same!
and MGD64 for 64, and miller lite for 98 I believe!0 -
I estimate that each shot is +/- 100 cal each. Even if it is under 100 cal it helps me keep a little more control (haha).
Diet sodas/waters/etc are awesome and my friend makes a great gin & tonic with sprite zero, diet tonic, a lot of lime/lemon juice & some cheap terrible gin...can't taste it at all.0 -
I've been sticking with lite beer, bourbon and diet cola, gin and club with lime. They say red wine is good for you and relatively low-calorie but I just can't do it. I also have a water or sugar-free energy drink every second or third order.
For me, the bar isn't the pitfall. It's the search for food afterward to pile onto the booze. Waffle House isn't exactly known for their health food.0 -
I think it has hurt me losing more than I have but I have plenty of time to lose the weight. Have fun.
My favorite drink is Vodka and Sugar Free Redbull, (Only about 90 Cals depending on the vodka)0 -

Mine as well! However, I am a beer fan, which gets me into trouble. I enjoy a lot of those delicious, frothy, dark beers, which can be high in calories and so forth. However, you would be surprised at some of the lighter beers - i.e. Blue Moon - as some of those are anywhere from 180 - 200 calories a pop. Ho hum...0 -

I'm sorry, I guess what I meant is my favorite diet drink! I LOVE BEER! I haven't had much of it recently but when I do I find amstel Light is the best tasting, under 100 Cals, and higher alcohol content than an Ultra.0 -
Try wine coolers - 2 oz of red wine, sparkling water and a wedge of lemon or lime. Only 50 calories.0

Cabo Wabo Anejo Tequila is only 69 calories. I used to be a mixed shot kind of guy, (vodka/cranberry) but the mixer will make the calories add up QUICK. Anejo is so smooth it doesn't need to be dressed to shoot, so no added sodium either. Just my two cents..0

I also wanted to know... I rarely drink anymore but I am going out this weekend.
I usually order Gin and Tonic and stick to 2 drinks a night and then I drink Perrier or flat water... I don't bother ordering diet tonic just because every time I've asked I've been told they had none0 -
Vodka with water and crystal light packages seem to be popular and low calorie. Also vodka soda lime is another good one even though it's been said. I've switched to this when I do drink...I used to drink a ton, mostly beer, explains the belly lmao0

vodka water/ diet coke! with a slice of lemon/lime0
