Good afternoon Jammers
Checking in for this morning with p,k&j and cardio party...Getting ready to do evening cardio party & turbo sculpt. I had to cut out my 1 o'clock workouts since I started school 2 day. I will try to check in again this week maybe not 2morrow even though I'm going to at least do cardio party everyday.
Much success to all of us!!!0 -
Skittles~ did you get the DVD's ??? Hope you enjoy them as much as we do! I agree L/B then the 20 min ~ then you're on your way!! Keep us posted on your progress!!

Just finished my walk ~ it was so muggy here in Spring I feel like a sponge. I was going to do ab jam but even after I logged dinner and 2 jello sf puddings i still have 250 cals left over. already 9pm and I don't want to wait too much longer to eat so i guess that's it for me tonight!
Strength tomorrow - 3t in the am or sculpt - might try it w/ my weights instead of the resistance bands for variety. Hope all are doing well and staying the course!
Take care friends,
Janet0 -
Checking in with Burn Circuit 2 and 20 min. cardio. I finally feel like I'm getting down the moves to all the TJ DVD's, so now I can really push!! Hope you all have a great Tuesday...we haven't seen the sun here in MN in 4 days, so I'm praying for some sun to brighten up the day!0

Good morning ladies! Did 20 min (first time w/ gloves) and ab jam today. Man that is a great ab workout!!

Hi everyone!
Checking in with Fat Blaster and 3T for yesterday, and I hope to do the same today! I absolutely LOVE my TJ workouts! I have not had the chance to look over all of my DVD's just yet. Can anyone tell me if there is a separate DVD for ab jam, because after having 3 kids I think I need that one the most  !!!0 -
Hey Family,
Checking in w/ 20 min pilates this am and 3T or sculpt on for tonight + some swimming!!
Really looking forward to that!!
Cpafford ~ AbJam is on the dvd pack that says "5 rockin workouts!" on the same disk as CP1. Glad you love it my current fave is PK & J + gloves!! Also adore CP2!! I tend to rotatoe those two the most!
the 20 min always does it for me when I am running behind - seems to just hit all my trouble areas~ of which there are many but definetly less so now that TJ is in the picture!! Glad you're with us!!
Hey Megan ~ I really need to see a new pic once you finish CE!! I know you look amazong!! WTG!!
Hipslips~ Coffee....ahhhhhhh!!! What a wonderful thing. Enjoy every soothing drop!! :drinker: Have 2 on me!! Great job using the gloves!! I love the intensity it adds to my w/o's!! Well, I use 1lb wrist weights now but same diff!!
Catch you later,
Janet0 -

Good Morning Everyone!
Checking in with CE Burn Intervals (that just kills me) and Ab Jam this morning.
cpafford79, great job on your workouts! So glad you love this too!
Janet...I'll definitely post a picture after I finish the first 90 days (I think I'm gonna go through it again after that to see how much stronger I've become). Enjoy your swim this evening!
Hipslips...I love the hand gloves! I use them for everything I can, and now it feels strange trying to work out without them!
Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning!!
Checking in with Fat Blaster and CP3 (only 30 minutes of it) for last night!
Has anyone every hit a plateau with TJ? I have been doing TJ workouts exclusively for the past week, 6 days out of 7, and I don't see the scale changing? I am staying within my 1200 calories so I'm not sure what's going on? :frown:0 -
Got my DVD's yesterday!!! Question, since I just bought them second hand from someone who didn't particularly like them (she only used the ONE DVD with the learn and burn on it and nothing else!!!), the weighted gloves weren't included. Is this something that you find helps you with the workout or am I okay with out it???
I picked the DVDs up last night after a cardio kickboxing class at the gym so I was too pooped to do anything more than watch the learn section of the learn and burn. Tomorrow morning will be my start!!!! I'm very excited!!!0 -
Catherine, I love using the weighted hand gloves...they're not a requirement, but since you're already doing kickboxing, you may want to use them. I know Janet bought herself a new pair at Wal-Mart. I think they're slightly heavier than beach body ones (I think she said 1 pound), but from her posts she seems very happy with them.
Good Luck with TJ...we can't wait to hear what you think of it!
:flowerforyou:0 -
I think I'll wait a bit on the weighted gloves...probably when I'm more coordinated...LOL!!
Tried out Turbo Jam this morning. Started off with the Burn part from Learn & Burn and then moved over to the 20 minute workout - which I SUCKED at! *LOL* I didn't know I was so uncoordinated...HAHAHAHA!!! Didn't get much of a workout the first time around because I was always playing catch-up, so after it was done, I started it again and it was much better!! Felt more comfortable moving into the different combinations and with the "W", I'm definitely feeling a difference in my kicks. I take a cardio kickboxing, and everything there moves so fast that they don't really concentrate on form...this time around, I was definitely feeling it in my hips and obliques when I kicked to the side and back!
I've got Zumba tonight, but I'll go for another 20 minute TJ tomorrow morning!!!0 -
Checking in today with Burn Circuit #3 and HHA Burn #1. CE is kicking my butt, but I'm definitely seeing results. Now if I could just gain some energy...once I'm done with Chalene, I'm toast for the rest of the day!0
-
I am trying Turbo Scuplt for the first time tonight! Pray for me.0

I'm going to have to up the calories again! I'm right at around 2,000 right now, but talked with our in house nutritionist/personal trainer at work and she thinks I need to up it a little more even. I feel like I'm constantly eating, but I'm also working out hard with CE 5x/week and cardio 6x/week, so I need the extra "fuel!" We'll see how my body reacts to that! I also ordered a different HRM (one with a chest strap) as I think I might be under estimating my calorie burn, which might be why I feel tired and maybe off on calorie intake.0 -

I think that's really a smart idea to up your calories. I'm at a maintanence level for my weight right now, and with doing CE and cardio, I eat about 2500 calories most days and my weight has stayed right on track, although my body has change alot in tone and definition and I've even lost a few more inches. If I go lower than that I really get run down and can't lift those heavy weights! Good luck!0 -
Good morning ladies! I'm just reporting my weekly check-in...
Monday - Fat Blaster
Tuesday - Fat Blaster & 3T
Wednesday - Fat Blaster & CP 3
Thursday - Fat Blaster
Friday - Fat Blaster & CP 2
I'm happy to say that I lost 1 pound this week and several inches!!! I am wondering why I don't see a bigger change on the scale though??0 -
HAPPY FRIDAY! :drinker:
fitz - yes i agree that is a lot of output of energy, your body needs to refuel! becase who wants to be tired all the time?? :noway:
cpafford - great job on your workouts!! i have fat blaster but have not tried it yet, it seems like you really like it!! i will have to try that one tomorrow morning! great job on the losses!!! i bet your scale is not moving as much because you are losing fat and building muscle simultaneously. but the inches lost definitely prove your body is changing for the better!
i have not remeasured my inches since i started but i am noticing my clothes are SO LOOSE. i cannot wear my jeans without a belt now! i want to go shopping so bad but i dont want to buy something that will only fit me for a month or two so i am holding off...and making my belt tigher every day! :drinker:
i hope you all have a great weekend! sunday is my birthday so i am planning on blowing my diet with mexican food and margaritas!!! i only turn 24 once right??? :laugh:0 -
Hey Family,
Checking in with ....... nothing so far for the day, LOL:laugh: Does running around the office count?? Whew!! feel like haven't sat down until now!!
20 min + ab Jam nite before, 20 min Pilates in AM + 20 min last nite. and headed to my women's retreat for the weekend!!! Yea!!! Hopefully the exercise room won't be locked up this time but I brought my 3lb weights and sneaks so I can at least go for a run/walk while I'm there and do some of what I can remember from AM Jam - gosh I love that w/o!!
Cpafford- great job on your consistency keep it up and don't focus on the scale (like I do) you'll feel and see the difference!!
Nickie929- welcome and I will lift you up!! I hope you love this w/o series like we do. You can't deny the changes~ it really works!!
Hips-Great job on the weight loss, WOO HOO!! Keep up the good work!!
Fitz-Megan was right, Good idea to reeval the cals and see if that makes a difference in your results, you probably do need the extra energy.
Might not see me around til Sunday so everybody have a great weekend!!

Thanks Everyone! Just a question, do most of you have your activity level set higher like moderately or very active? I have a desk job, so during the day, I sit all day. But, I workout 6 days a week and really push myself, so I would think my resting calorie burn would be higher. MFP has me at a 1500/mo cal level, but being that I'm so tired on the days I workout, I think I need to go above and beyond that. Yesterday MFP had me at 1800 and I did 2000, and will try the same today. I'm just wondering how closely you follow MFP? I'm set up to lose 1/2 pound per week with the 1500 cals.0

Hips - You're right...you only get 1 b-day a year so why not have a BLAST!! After 2 weeks of TJ, I am now comfortably wearing my old size 12 jeans (which I am stoked about!! ) I agree that you shouldn't buy new clothes every time you go down a size because you won't be wearing them that long. I turn 30 on September 24th, and I plan on treating myself to a BIG shopping spree for new clothes! I plan on being back to my old "pre-baby" size 10 by then. I have already warned my husband to start saving his money    !
Keep up the great work! :flowerforyou:0 -

I actually dont go by what MFP says because I am not convinced they are accurate..they seem a little too broad for me. Here are a few you can try. See if they tell you an avg number that you feel comfortable with. And play around with it! See what works to keep you full of energy but also making improvment.
