Daredevil is awesome- (not the movie)

Daredevil is only relevant to me because Taskmaster stole his moves. Otherwise I find him uninteresting :p (personally)
Have you read Miller's "Born Again" arc? Brilliant

No, I'll have to look it up sometime :) Right now I'm finishing up some one shots with Deadpool. He is so friggin crazy >:O

Link, from Zelda, if he counts as a super hero. If not then Donatello from TMNT, because they must count as superheros.

'Born Again' is an excellent read, but if you're not a DD fan you may not care about what happens in it. Miller's original run as writer/artist from 168-191 is better overall, and is the real groundwork for virtually the entire existence of the character since. Available right now in three trade paperbacks (also collecting the issues where Frank Miller was just the artist).

As for my favourite single character, I'm torn. I think I'll go with Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four. When written well he's a terrific character, a brilliant, driven scientist who also has the heart of a old-time swashbucking adventurer.
lol I love this it makes my heart happy to see everyone nerd out like this. I loved Thor since I was a little girl but that had to do alot with the fact that I was a huge mythology buff. I'm currently rewatching Xena and Hercules with my 8 and 5 yr olds (gotta start em young).

If you'd like them to actually read some great Thor, there was a wonderful all-ages series called Thor: The Mighty Avenger by Landridge and Samnee that came out last year. It's got a lot of action and a touch of romance, I think your 8 year old would enjoy it (and you would too - I'm a 28 year old fella and 'all ages' really is for all ages!). Its collected in two trades
