Alli is the brand name for a prescription drug called orlistat. You can ask the doctor for a months supply on prescription to try it without spending a small fortune. Any decent doctor will however ask you to keep a fat intake diary before giving you orlistat as it can cause all of the above symptoms. Your bmi must be above 30 and you need to follow a diet and exercise plan too. You shouldn't take it with high fat meals and don't need it with low fat meals as it only works on the meal you take it with. So if you eat fatty food between meals you will quite possibly retain all that fat. It also blocks the absorption of vitamins a d and e which are essential for hair growth so you may need to take a vitamin supplement in case of I'll effects on your hair :0)
