Yes. I weigh myself Friday mornings after I use the bathroom regardless of whether or not I'm on my time of the month.0
-
yupp, it never hurts to know your weight, but don't get discouraged if it isn't what you want it to be.0
-
I do not! I know from experience I'm 5-7 pounds heavier, so instead of upsetting myself I just wait a few days.0
-
yes0

Yes, I tend to daily. But I don't officially log it until about 2 days in (which actually tends to be a low weight for me for some reason). Whatever keeps you sane though, just as long as you stay on track with your diet and exercise!0
-
Yes! You should weigh yourself the same time and day every week. I do Mondays, first thing in the morning.0
-
I do.
I usually don't the week before I know I'm going to have it, because I don't know about with some women, but I get extremely bloated and the scale shows it like I've just randomly gained 8 pounds. Usually once it starts it drops back to the weight I was at before the bloating.0 -
Yep, I sure do. I've occasionally lost weight on my cycle. I wouldn't worry too much about the expected gain, it'll come off. I just like to check in.0
-
Yes I do!
I'm actually looking forward to my time being over (Sunday) because I'm curious if I've lost more than I think I have given my being bloated and stuff.
But yes I weigh in, I still work out, I do my VERY best to avoid my chocolate cravings or any junk food. So far, so good!0 -
sure do, I weigh myself every Sunday morning after I potty :ohwell:0
-
I usually wait till after ...0
-
Yep. Every Wednesday.0
-
yup. I weigh myself every day. I think it helps us figure out our own body's weight loss pattern.0

I can tell you that I have found that if I only weigh myself once every two weeks, then I feel more of an accomplishment when I see a bigger loss than one or two punds. And, that way you can make sure that you are NOT weighing yourself during your time. Hope this helps:)0

I havent weighed myself in 2 months0

I used to avoid the scale during my period (PS, why doesn't any woman on MFP say "period" or "menstruation" for ****'s sake) because I assumed I would be bloated. But then I weighed myself almost every day for a while and realized that I gain weight while I'm ovulating and it usually goes away by the time my period starts.0

i agree0

Yes I do even though I know it'll say I'm 2-3lbs heavier :-(0
-
I am so glad this was posted! I was fraked out this morning when I weighed myself.....said I was gaining instead of losing........ I'm not gonna worry too much now. :-)0
-
I made the mistake of doing just that this morning...I gained 2 lbs...but hoping that will change by my monday weight in.0
-
I weigh myself every Monday morning, in the nude, right after going potty!! Haven't noticed a weight shift during that time. Also I drink lots of water!0
-
Thank you every one for posting. I can gain in water weight 10 pounds in one day. So this is why I am wondering when it is my time if I should.0

I did weigh myself this week (I'm on now) but saw absolutely no change in the scale. Since I've been working my butt off lately, I attributed that to being on my period (women weigh a few pounds more during our time of the month) and the fact that I started a strenuous weight lifting program last week. I'm hoping to see the results of my work on the scale next week. Oh the wonderful world of womanhood!0
-
No way!! I stay away from my scale 1 week before and during.0

I would love to get to a point where I can do that. I only got myself to stick to once a day in the last few months. Its a sick obsession that really makes me spiral because the numbers fluctuate too much during the day. I have a friend who doesn't have a scale at home at all, she only weighs in once a week at the weight loss clinic she goes to.0 -
I do!0

Yes, I weigh myself every monday, no matter what. If I'm on my period and I gain weight, it just pushes me to work harder.0
-
yep weigh myself every day0
