Chicken Pesto Pizza

I made this today for lunch with the leftovers in my fridge. It was so good! Perfect for something quick and easy. It's also the perfect size paired with a salad. Enjoy!
Chicken Pesto Pizza
Ingredients:
1 Whole wheat Pita (use the whole pita, I used Western Bagel Pita Bread)
1/4 cup goat cheese
2 tablespoons homemade or store bought pesto
1/2 roasted red bell pepper (homemade or jarred)
2 oz thin sliced cooked chicken breast
fresh basil leaves
To Make:
Preheat toaster oven to 350 degrees. Put a thin layer of the pesto on top of pita. Add goat cheese. Arrange chicken and red bell peppers over the goat cheese. Bake in toaster oven or regular oven at 350 degrees for about 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and add fresh basil leaves. Cut into 4 slices with knife or pizza cutter.

protein: 24
fat: 7
sodium: 543
sugar: 20 -

That looks so good and similar to the Herb Mediterranean DeLite Pizza from Papa Murphy's!! I love using pitas or whole wheat tortillas for pizza crust! :drinker:0
