Congratulations - what a great accomplishment! :drinker:

Other potential "side effects" to beware of:

    - You may have to get rid of your 'fat clothes' because they're sagging and dragging all over the place.
    - You may develop a newfound love of shopping when you try things on that fit and look great
    - People will be continually complimenting you.
    - You'll have more energy and enthusiasm for life

    Consider yourselves warned....

    Congrats!!!

Mine still needs meds to control but my Doctor said that if I keep up with my improved life style I could be off the meds by the end of this year!

Very glad to read that someone else was able to get off BP meds!

Yahy!!! I can't wait to say that I have to cut out my BP pills. I'm happy that mine finally has gotten in normal range with treatment. Or at least usually is. I hate hate hate the dizziness side effect of these darn pills. Went to the Dr. the 2nd half of 2011 more times than ever in a short 6 month period. Have been sent off to cardiologist after much complaining and worry on my part only to be told all is normal and looks good despite feeling crappy and having chest pains I was about to just bluntly ask her if she could refer me because of palpitations dizziness/lightheaded faintness but at first she'd assure me I'm too young and my blood work looked good no high cholesterol or anything. . Comes down to probably all anxiety which has reduced greatly just switching meds and stopping my daily antihistimaine(Claritin) I know just "deal" with my allergies. Next is rhemutology since I have evidence of inflammation from blood work. So getting sent off to get that checked. But decided after cardio said I was fine to just get to exercising.

I just can't wait to get my bp under control naturally without meds again. 2 weeks ago at my Dr's office for swollen lymph node and come to find a double ear infection I was surprised to here my bp was a nice low 114/ 69(low for me). Now if only it was there without the use of a beta blocker which I switched to to help with my racing 100+ resting heart rate.
