The Downside of Being an Active Female (men beware)

Ladies,

One thing I really miss about being way overweight and unmoving? No TOM. I would go months in between (up to 6!), no birth control, and trust me, no sex. Now that I am active? Damn thing shows up like clock work. :P

Other than that? Feeling awesome!!

    It is a sign of just how much more healthy you are though. Pain in the butt, but a good sign nonetheless. Much better to be healthy. Well done.

    Hehe, do you findit harder to stick to your calorie limits and exercise when you have TOM? this is my first one on my new healthier lifestyle and I can't bring myself to do my workout dvd and I crave chocolate sooo badly ! X
  • I read somewhere that you burn something like 20% more calories when you exercise whilst it's TOM, not sure if it's true but the thought usually keeps me motivated!!

    Allow yourself what you crave, just in moderation. For some people, myself included, this makes them less likely to go overboard on sweets or give up on healthy eating.
