At the moment twice a week 10-11.5 kms each time. I don't have more free time than that. In the holidays when we stay with my parents or my husband is home I run every other day.
  • 5-6x a week for me, I try for 3 miles each run... somedays I get it, somedays I don't! I'm still lapping everyone on the couch!

    Never.

Unless something really big, and meaner than I am is chasing me.

LOL, pretty much what I was thinking.
  • I run every other day so 4 days a week. I usually run 3.1 miles (5k) and just started taking it up to get ready for a 10k. I also do other cardio on the days in between.

You dont need cardio to lose weight.
    It helps but isnt necessary!

Usually at least once a week.... busy schedule with work, school and kids appointments, and I run outdoors- getting dark out at 5pm stinks. Summer will be more often, at least twice, maybe as often as 6 times a week!

Not all of us are looking to lose weight! I just like getting outside and moving.

It used to be 3-4 times a week. Now, it's about 0. I think I may be becoming a seasonal runner.

When it's warm out, daily. When it's cool (like now) 3x... the gym on other days.

Before my stress fracture, it was 3-4 times a week.

Now it's been 34 days since I last ran. :frown: Not that I'm counting.

Some people just like to run, ya know.
  • 4-5X a week. Love it. I am bummed if time is a factor and I can't run.

3 days a week, 15-20 miles. The other days I walk or elliptical. When I was running more than 3 days, my runs would just "suck"

I try for 3-5 days a week. But lately it's been like 1-3.

I think 4x week is my happy spot. When I was following a training plan that had me running 5x week it was too much and I was getting burned out.

Every now and then I'll feel like running extra, so I do, but it's not that often. I like my cross training activities too much. :)
  • If I could I would run every day, but I can't,(insert list of reasons why not here) so I try to run a couple of time a week.

I started the c25k thing which says 3 times per week but being a little quirky i thought i could do it every day which has resulted in the beginnings of shin splints, badly blistered heels (from bad old runners + new insole) and extreme calf pain.

So going to try actually doing it 3 times per week..... if my heels ever heal up!
