Hello! I also use the iPhone app - I've found it unbelievably useful in teaching me how easy it is to overeat! It's a big cliche but all the tiny little things that aren't worth that many calories individually, do add up over the course of a week or month. You do have to watch things like making sure you get all your fruit and veg etc. - the app has also taught me that it's possible to remain within your calorie intake even if you eat utter crap.
Good luck!
Edited for spelling!0 -
Good luck!! feel free to add me!0

I'm in BrisVegas and lost over 20kg on MFP and almost another 20kg before that on my own.
Feel free to add me.
40kg in one year is possible if you start now and are dilligent.
By the way I'm 47, tall and was in bad shape when I started. I ran out of excuses when I saw this guy:

I'm in Sydney, 44, feel free to add me.
I've been on Mfp for 225 days now, lost 16kgs (almost 20kg including 1month prior joining). I have 10 more to go (maybe a little more).
I've taken a long term view to weight loss. It's not about losing max weight in minimum time. It's about learning and building up on my fitness and improving my eating behavior incrementally. I don't believe in deprivation either; if I want something I still have it in moderation. I enjoy exercise but know my limits and when to take it easy (some maynsay too easy at times lol).
So good for you to think about this on a longer term view, my cliche motto: slow and steady wins the race.0 -
hi there feel free to add me as a friend. I have over 100 lbs to lose so will take me way longer than a year to lose so i'm in it for the long haul xx good luck on your journey x0
