I went into this so motivated, "knowing" I could do it ... but I've hit a wall. Already. I had one "slip" day and then I figured "what the hell, yesterday was a screw up so might as well not bother today" ... and it's been that way for a few days now. I just can't seem to pull myself back up and get on with it! Sorry, just needed to get this out.

Know that you aren't the only one who slips up, it happens to us all. Its not the first time and won't be the last, the point is you care enough to address it. You'll get back on track so don't give up;)

I hear you! This is difficult stuff. Don't forget why you want to lose weight. I keep that image in my mind, so even if I don't stick exactly to the plan, I still have my goal in mind and hopefully make some better food choices than I would otherwise. You can do this!

I just came out of a funk, too. I've gained and lost the same 10 pounds, three times now? Four times? It was a pretty nasty couple of months.

I am a firm believer of 'everything in it's time.' You'll start feeling better one day, and then you'll get back on track. Try to be gentle with yourself in the meantime.

I know what you mean. I started that way, not really taking it too seriously. But you gotta remember if you slip today, you start again tomorrow. We all slip up every once in a while but make a conscious effort to start again. If you slipped on one meal, tell yourself you'll eat better the rest of the day. Remember that messing up every once in a while is not going to ruin your plan, and eff up your goal, but YOU have the ability to do that, IF you let yourself. Let your mind be the master of your body, when your brain says jump your body will listen. Just work on putting the right kind of thoughts in your head.
I dunno if this will help you at all, but it's pretty much the same thing I scream at myself when I feel myself getting lazy. Also I try to remember how bad I want to reach my goal, and all the reasons I want to reach my goal and how awesome it has felt to succeed before!
    Good Luck!
  • Losing weight is probably one the hardest things to do. We all have bad days but you have to bounce back, if you get discouraged you.'ll just gain. Dont let it get you down, get back on track yiu can do it.
