Who names their cars?

A lot of my cars seem to have their own personality and in keeping with that I've been naming them for years. I was just curious if anyone else out there is naming their cars? If so what did you have and what were their names? Here are mine:

Past:
1982 BMW 528e - Wolfie (short for Wolfgang)
1985 Mercedes 190e - Max (short for Maximillian)
1997 BMW 528i - Wolfie II

Current:
1963 Sunbeam Alpine - Vicki
1999 Porsche 911 Cabriolet - Sasha

    I sure do name my cars. They are a part of my life and I need them so I make them feel a part of the family. :tongue:

    Past:

    1977 Ford Galaxy 500 - The Blue Bomber
    19__ Chevy Malibu Classic - The Green Machine
    1991 Cutlass Sierra - The Cowboy Mobile (It was silver with a blue interior and Cowboys bumper sticker) of sometimes Julian


    Present:

    Just bought a Nissan Sentra and haven't named it yet. I haven't had it long enough to get its personality.

    I think I got that habit from my mom, and it has rubbed off on my hubs now too.

    - First car ever - Ford Tempo: 'Little Mac'
    - Hubs' Monte Carlo: After we started dating, it was dubbed 'Big Red'

    Present
    - 1998 Sunfire: 'Little Red' (so we had Big Red and Little Red at one point)
    - 2011 Fiesta: 'Scootz'

    My Seat Ibiza is called...My car.
    My mother's Astra Estate is called...the Astra.
    My mother's Toyota Rav4 is called...the Rav.

    I did. My old car was a Toyota Yaris and I named her Cindy the Silver Bullet.

    1960 Ford Falcon -- "Jelly Bean"
    1960's BMW 1600 -- "The Grey Ghost." Grey for the color, Ghost because it was always disappearing into the repair shop.
    1987 740 Volvo Turbo Sedan -- Olaf the Great -- I got the 250,000 mile medallion
    1995 Volvo Wagon. I didn't own it long enough to give it a name. But if I did, it would have been the LEMON drop kid

    Well, my old '86 Lincoln I called Landcreuzer...

    The Dodge Charger I fell in love with I named Betsy, only got to drive her a day.

    And my new car, I haven't picked up yet, so, I haven't named yet.

    Me and my mom both do this. My first car was a pale yellow1988 Jeep Cherokee and I called her Belle. My current car, a 2003 dark gray Ford Focus, is named Zane. My mom drive a 1989 Chevy Silverado with massive tires. I just call it the beast.

    My littles recently named the van "The Choppa" ... so they proceed to yell, "Get to the choppa" whenever we're going somewhere.

    My car is called Joanie after Joan Jett,I had two other cars one I called Joan the other was Jett.Yeah I know,Im a big Joan Jett fan.Just love her music.

    2005 Chevy Silverado(brothers) Black Beauty
    2001 Ford Ranger- Danger Ranger
    94' Chevy Corsica- Gertie

    My 1st car was a 1989 blue Ford Escort.. me and my bff named it "the bug".

    The only other car I've named is the one I have now. I drive a Saturn.. her name is Sally. Easy peasy!

    My car (Escort rs2000 mk6) Shakira :-) I named her this as when I first bought her, Hips dont lie came on full blast and shakira the cossie replica was born :-P

    My 2007 black Sportster is B***h. :)

    Those are the only two vehicles I've had that have had actual names.

    All my cars have shared the same name - Betsy. now that I have two cars, they are named Red Betsy and Black Betsy :-)

    2001 Chevy Lumina: Bernice

    2004 Saturn ION: Iris

    2004 Chevy Aveo: Elsie

    those are all of the ones I can think of right now.

    My current car is the 1999 Chevy Prizm. :)
