I hear equal, and other sweeteners are as bad as sugar....DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA ON WHAT TO USE? Truvia, maybe?

I personally like Honey or Agave Nectar to use as sweeteners on a daily basis. If you're baking, however, those won't work. I just continue to use cane sugar for baking.
EDIT: I don't normally count the honey or agave nectar, because I usually just squeeze a dab into my tea, which i also don't count (20 calories here and there aren't going to mess me over)... but they do have a few calories, so if you are strict on calories then make sure you log them!0 -
