I tried Greek Yogurt this morning- Almond Cream. Blended with OJ, banana, and ice.
Yummy.

Now a question- though- I'm thinking of trying a protein powder., but I've never used those before. I assume I could add that to my smoothie. Any suggestions of kind and what else you can use those with?

Yes, you may add protein powder to your smoothie..I do it all the time! Adds extra protein and you stay full longer..
just add a half to a full scoop. If your doing a fruit smoothie I would add vanilla..

If you want to shake it up make a peanut butter chocolate smoothie..sooooo good! message me if you want the recipe.

Also, this morning I just had greek yogurt and berries..now, greek yogurt by itself I can't stand.. so today I cut up 4 strawberries added 2 packets of splenda let sit for a while and poured it on top of the greek yogurt..holy cow, Nummo!!!!

Have you tried Chobani Greek yogurt? The blueberry is so good and the apple cinnamon I love them all The non fat ones are Only 140 Calories and 14 grams of protein! I add cinnamon to the plain and sometimes cut up banana to add to it..

Protein powder is awesome. When you buy it make sure the carbs are less then 5g and the protein is over 20g. Some protein powders have alot of sugar and Carb. Also don't buy it if it has a weight gainer to it. I love chocolate. OK so I do alot with protein powder so Bear with me if you think it sounds funny. I will take a scoop a powder and mix 1/2 cup of water with it until smooth then add oatmeal -1/4 cup,and cook it and have chocolate oatmeal. Add whatever you would to your regular oatmeal. Good way to get protein in. I have mixed it in pudding too.

Agree with BodyGood - you have to be careful about all the additives in some brands. I buy 100% Whey and Jay Robb has a great brand with high protein and low sugar/carbs. Also he has a ton of really good shake recipies on his website. I do frozen strawberries about 4 oz of OJ, fill the rest of the blender with water (I don't like too much OJ so I water it down) and 1 scoop of vanilla protein, and I add 1 scoop of psyluum seed husk (for fiber) and blend in a blender and it taste so good first thing in the morning - it starts rehydrating you from sleeping and gets your metabolism running again. Another good one is ice with a little milk and the the rest water (again I don't like to use full milk, I usually do 1/2 milk 1/2 water ), 1 scoop of chocolate protein with 1 tablespoon of instant coffee -- and you have a frozen blended coffee drink as good as starbucks but more protein and less calories!
