    I think each show in it's time was pretty awesome. It would be kind of hard to make a head to head comparison since our social settings have changed since each show was set. I will have to say this....I think Friends had a larger following that HIMYM. I like both shows and continue to watch reruns of both whenever they are on.

    Friends. I'm a bit obsessed tho...have all 10 seasons on DVD....can quote - seriously- about 95% of every episode over those 10 seasons. :glasses:

    I love both equally. I own almost all the friends dvds and i watch HIMYM every week with my bf. They are both awesome :0)

    I like both but HIMYM is by far the superior comedy. When Barney went on The Price is Right... I never laughed so hard in my life and tears were streaming down my face..........

    HIMYM is like watching true life stories from my past lol. I can sit there, watch and rewatch it because although some of the things are ridiculous, they are way too true. The episode where they explore the different effects of different alcoholic drinks is HILARIOUS. I wish my family participated in Slapsgiving.

    I think it's all about timing. Friends WAS the it show for it's time. It did push some boundaries about friendship and relationships. HIMYM is definitely better for this decade, so I call a draw on that one

    I definitely preferred Friends. The character of Barney gets old quick.

    I will always be a Friends fanatic....that show opened the door for shows like HIMYM...and sometimes I don't always find HIMYM funny...I always laugh at Friends <3

    I don't watch T.V . I get home and turn on my Pandora Radio. I do surf on the internet though but only like an hour before i go to bed :)

    I LOVE HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER!!! One of my favorite shows on TV, very well written, and HILLARIOUS. I love the characters!
