Healthier Snacks

I am eating too many empty calories when I am snacking. Does anyone have any suggestions? HEEEEELLLLLPPPPP

    I posted a similar topic somewhere. I got the Special K whole grain crackers and eat with Laughing Cow cheese wedge or tuna. Or you can get the turkey pepperoni, very low cal. I'm not an almond fan so I got plain cashews and measure one serving. You can also have lowfat yogurt, string cheese or a fruit salad or raw veggies (not my cup of tea)

    I like to snack on:

    Hummus with carrot sticks and celery sticks.

    Laughing cow with water crackers.

    Fruit

    Greek Yogurt is a great snack, full of protein
    Cottage Cheese
    fruits and veggies
    almonds

    I snack on Laughing cow cheese, some mixed nuts and my favorite is sliced green apples and peanut butter

    I like to snack on edamame, and planters nuts has an energy mix single serving pouches that have chocolate in it. I love it.

    Hard boiled eggs
    Celery with peanut butter
    Whole wheat toast with peanut butter
    Fruit (sliced apples, bananas, berries, etc)
    Walnuts or almonds
    Protein bars
    Whole wheat crackers
    Cottage cheese with fruit
    No sugar added apple sauce
    Healthy cereals (special K, bran flakes, etc)
    Cut up veggies (celery, bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, etc)
    Greek yogurt (Fage and Chobani have some excellent flavors!)
    Low fat string cheese

    The list goes on and on...
  • Thanks for all the suggestions and help. I have to incorporate more of them into my diet.
