I try and get moving at least 6 days a week, if not all 7. This is what my week usually looks like...
Monday: Weight lifting, 20 minutes cardio (elliptical, stair stepper or treadmill)
Tuesday: AM- 30 minute core workout
PM- BodyAttack class
Wednesday: Weight lifting, 20 minutes cardio
Thursday: BodyAttack class, 30 minute core workout class
Friday: Zumba
Saturday: Weights, 1 hour hike with dog
Sunday: yoga or 30 minutes at the driving range, plus hike with dog0 -
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Circuit training
Sunay, Tuesday, Saturday: HIIT (high intensity interval training) on an exercise bike.0 -
I work out 4-6 days a week. In a perfect week I take a Women on Weights class two times per week for an hour. It is mostly circuit training then afterwards I try to squeeze in about 1/2 hour of cardio. 2 days a week are cardio and weights. Then two days a week are strictly cardio (spinning, swimming, running, rowing, or speed intervals).0

I work out 7 days a week.
Sundays: Zumba video (45 minutes)
Mondays: 20 minutes of a Firm Express video, 20 minutes treadmill, and 24 minutes robotics toning/strengthening machines
Tuesdays: Zumba (45 minutes)
Wednesdays: 20 minutes of a Firm Express video, 20 minutes treadmill, and 24 minutes robotics toning/strengthening machines
Thursdays: Zumba 45 minutes)
Fridays: 20 minutes of a Firm Express video, 45 minutes Zumba toning/sculpting video, 24 minutes robotics toning/strengthening machines
Saturday: 60 minutes on a treadmill
This does not include a 5 minute warmup and 5 minute cool down as well as an 8 to 15 minutes stretch routine that I do everyday - half of that before and half after my workouts. There are also weeks that I do my robotics more than 3 times a week.
Eventually I will cut back to 5 days a week when I am in the maintenance stage of my weight loss.
Hope this helps. :-)0 -
This is my typical week, granted this is part of my Half Marathon training, so this may or may not keep up after the race in March, but I'll try to still do something. This has been my schedule since the week of Thanksgiving.
Mon - REST
Tuesday - Run
Wednesday - Yoga
Thursday - Run
Friday - Crosstrain (usually stationary bike)
Saturday - REST
Sunday - Long Run
This will continue till the race March 4th and then after that things will be a little more fluid.0 -
I run 35-40 miles per week, which includes 5 or 6 mile runs on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, a 10-mile run on Thursday and a 7-9 mile run on Saturday. I also walk my dogs 15-30 minutes each day.0

I do!.
Lately it's been 2-3 mornings with either a portion of the spark people boot camp workout, or 30 minutes on elliptical or indoor cycle, plus 10- 20 minutes of Rodney Yee's am Yoga, 10 minute Pilates solution or using a flexibility foam roller.
3 days a week of hot yoga, usually Saturday Sunday and a Mid week day. We do lots of lunges, shoulder work and ab work in the hot yoga classes.
Other days I rotate videos such as spark people boot camp, 10 minute pilates solution, Jillian Michaels yoga meltdown, and I have a new video with 10 minute workouts that I like, core fusion cardio pure intensity. Many of the video workouts have a mix of cardio and high reps with weights. I do so many kinds of videos so I don't get bored.
And I think that at 178 lbs and 27.5 % body fat, I am not doing too badly for being a fat girl.0 -
I do 6 days a week
Mon - rest day
Tue - Kettleworx Resistance
Wed - Turbo Jam/Cardio Box or some variety of kickboxing type workout
Thurs - Kettleworx Cardio
Fri - Turbo Jam/Cardio Box or some variety of kickboxing type workout
Sat - Kettleworx Core
Sun - Turbo Jam/Cardio Box or some variety of kickboxing type workout
Though sometimes, like this week, I feel the need for another rest day so I take Sunday as my day off. Exercise seriously screws up my scales. I can see a 3lb gain the next day after an intense workout so I always have monday as my rest day so that I can recover in time for my weigh in on Tuesday. I still find that I lose less lbs wise (0.5lbs last week, 3.25lbs the week before, 0.75lbs the week before that) following a part of small, big, small, big but I lose a consistently good amount of inches each week so it makes up for that.0 -
Mon- run for 30, weight lifting(arms)
Tues- Zumba (class)
Wed- run for 30, weight lifting(legs)
Thurs- Zumba, then yoga (classes)
Fri- run for 30, abs

Sun- off day.
The off day rotates sometimes it's Tuesday.0 -

I work out 5-7 days a week depending on how I am feeling. I do Jillian Michaels 30ds, other Bob and biggest loser workouts, I spin at home and take spin classes. I also do total body extreme which is a HIIT class.
I run 5ks at least once a month (our community does them monthly, occasionally twice a month. with the exception of Jan and FEB). I like to run 5k and 10 personal trainer program on the treadmills at the gym. I would love to hit the weight room more, but with my husbands schedule and 3 small kids that can be rough. (Ours does not offer child care and being overseas options are limited).0 -
My routine is pretty simple, 6 days a week I run 3kms every morning. (sorry not sure what that is in miles) and then starting from march i'll be doing basketball on tuesday, netball training thurs and netball game on saturdays.
As you can see i prefer team sports and like to exercise that way. I don't really like the gym and am lucky i can run worry free on my farm.
Do you have any suggestions for me that don't involve a gym?
Thanks!! G0 -
Everyday, minimum an hour with my dog, about an hour of tai chi, 30 minutes of zumba, 30 minutes of fitinsix(ps3 fitness program using the motion controller). I also add 30minutes of treadmill, ellepitcal, and stationary bike 5 times a week plus other things as I feel like. I'm trying to get myself down to 160-180lb range and get good enough conditioning to run/walk a 10k come this May.0

My word! you lot are wearing me out just reading your comments. I've gone from total couch potato last October to doing 2 days a week of Zumba (1hr classes). I am going to start a 3rd class next week. I also do zumba 2 on the wii occasionally.
I've never liked exercise or sport even as a kid (I was very skinny though), so I'm proud I've found something I like doing at last and zumba is very addictive. I would like to do something everyday but don't think I have the time or the inclination. Any advise or encouragement would be appreciated.0 -
work out 4 days, rest, work out 4 days, rest, and so on
I do a mix of squats, lunges, pushups, burpees, dips, situps, planks, tuck jumps, mountain climbers, jumping jacks, deadifts, some cardio such as walking, c25k, sprints and my exercise bike, recently added push presses, upright rows and bicep curls. Everyday my routine is different I dont have a set schedule and occasionally I will repeat a routine to see how my fitness has progressed.
I like it, my trainer is awesome and keeps me on my toes0 -
I work out minimum 5 days a week, usually try to get in 50 minutes of cardio and 50 minutes of strength per day (it varies a lot though on the classes my gym offers... I take rebound cardio (cardio), fat burn (cardio), cardio slim (cardio) strike zone (mostly strength), body sculpt (strength), tae bo (cardio), boot camp (mix), pilates (VERY rarely), an abs/butt and thighs class (strength), just begun 30 day shred adding it as an extra and thinking of starting couch to 5 k next month. On my free days I either snowboards, rock climb, backpack or go horse back riding and I through in a rest day once a couple of days (about once every 10 days). I enjoy working out, especially in the gym, being next to other people motivates me a lot, as well as that high feeling of knowing you have done everything you can. I am a veterinarian and currently an undergrad, lately I have been focusing on my PhD a lot, so I spend very many hours at the computer every day...which means I really need the balance of some kickass workouts. No matter how tired I am, after a 50 minute class I feel excellent.0

I do. I ride my bike every day, either out on the street or on a trainer if the weather is not good.0
