I love sweets! but I want to eat only low fat/low calorie sweet snacks. I was thinking of buying a cake pop or mini donut maker. Does anyone have one? Are they less calories, or can I make them to be less calories? I am pretty good with self-control now, so I don't think I would really eat too many. I am just wondering everyone's opinions on them!

Cake pops are RIDICULOUSLY easy to make...I don't see why one would need an appliance for it.

Just use this recipe, and save your $20.

    Exactly what it says!

a ball of cake, on a stick!

To the OP! The cake pop makers SUCK and they are super hard to make!!! BUt if you have good self control, make them and limit yourself to one a day! yum!!! wish I could!

I would assume you could make them pretty healthfully. Could probably find some recipes online. I really want the mini donut maker! The cake pop maker is kind of useless, they're super easy to make without a maker, so I see no need to get one.

Cake pops are usually made by crumbling up cake, mixing it with frosting, and then frosting that. One benefit to a makers they just get cooked in balls to begin with, so you can save some calories and sugar by not mixing it with frosting to form the ball shape.

Yeah I kinda want the donut hole maker more, I actually never had a cake pop, they don't sell where I live...but I wanted to try.
