I have playlists for running..one at a 9min mile and another at a 10min mile. I love the website: http://jog.fm/

You put in your pace and it gives you songs that move at that tempo!!

Try "The Workout Mix 2012" You can download it online. Has 2 great 1 hour or so long compilation mixes plus the individual tracks AND some free workout DVDs.

    Really good workout music.

Buy on CD or online at places like iTunes.

My running mix has Black-Eyed Peas, Flo Rida, Prodigy, Hot Chelle Rae, the new stuff from Enrique Iglesias, Katy Perry, Far East Movement, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, LMFAO, Maroon 5, and Gym Class Heroes. I used to listen to Kanye, but I get tired of songs fast, so I had to take some off. These really keep me going, though.

I have various work out playlists and what I listen to depends on my mood. Decent mood, just need something with a good beat examples: Pink - Get This Party Started, Lady GaGa - Just Dance. Saucy mood, feel like shaking it: Diana Ross - I'm Coming Out, Thelma Houston - Don't Leave Me This Way. Feel like kicking some a**: V.A.S.T. - Free, Korn - Got the Life.

So basically, I guess my favorite music to list to while working out is either modern dance, disco or metal.

I start mine easy, Journey, Reo Speedwagon, so forth. Gotta go with Kiss, Black Eyed Peas, Basshunter, AC/DC, Def Leopard, ***** Cat Dolls, kenny Logans, even Jerry Lee Lewis, Beach Boys. basically party music. To cool down Styx, Queen, The Eagles, Enigma.

Yes, I admit to being very eclectic.

My current playlist is kind of slim but I'm working on adding to it. :)

    11h30 - Danger (DatA remix)
    Can I Have A Word - Capsule
    Clash - Caravan Palace
    4h30 - Danger
    Walkman - SebastiAn
The Geeks Were Right - The Faint (Does it Offend You, Yeah? remix)
    Stress - Justice

That's what I have right now, not necessarily in that order!

The English band Fluke: Atom Bomb and Absurd are both great songs as is the whole album "Risotto".

You need to checkout rockmyrun.com; they have a ton of awesome running mixes you can sort by genre, BPM, etc. Never been much of a runner, but with these tracks I can't wait to get out on the road!

Wow, what a great site! So happy I stumbled upon this post...I've been dying to download some new music but haven't had a chance. The seamless compilation of songs, which are totally current, is awesome! Thanks for the reference :)
