To scale or not to scale? That is the question...

I'm a college student and I don't have a personal scale and I'm wondering if I should get one. It stinks to log food every day and see "0 LBS LOST" glaring at me in red. My school's gym has a scale (the old balance kind) but I'm not sure how accurate it is and it's in public and so on.

Advice? Please?

  • The old balance scales are usually the most accurate, much more accurate than bathroom scales.

We bought a scale. I could weigh at the gym, or several other places. I like to weigh first thing in the morning before I eat anything. I also like to know how much I weigh, not my clothes. We bought the Eat Smart scale from Amazon. It was around $30 and very accurate.
