If you're sore after running, you can try lanolin cream (I think that's it) that women use for breastfeeding issues. Might help.

This but it's not a cream, it's like really firm vaseline. Nothing will get through it, but it will grease through your shirt. So then you have to pick up some breast pads, use medical tape to keep them in place. Your shopping basket will look mighty interesting. Haha

I've seen my husband taking band aids off after a run... It is not hot... but hey, if it makes him more comfortable... Just don't let anyone see what you're doing!

I used to have that problem after about 8 miles, in cold weather weather only, when i got sweaty(and things "perked" up. Since i've lost weight and toned up my chest, the problem has went away. I don't wear compression shirts, but i always wear wicking fabric.
And i tried Body Glide in the past, it stained my shirts.

    Wow, this thread was disappointing.

I was thinking the same thing because I was all prepared to share some stories...not about mine, but about a couple of exes ;-)

I was thinking the same too. I love nipples, actually am a little obsessed with nipples and was hoping to share, especially about my girl friends party trick "nipples and cd's"

I wear a dab of vaseline in my sports bra to prevent the piercings rubbing.

Not gyno...has nothing to do with Gyno unless they are sensitive all the time and he feels a fatty lump(the gland) bothering him.

Mine only get sensitive when bitten too hard....I swear you women just dont listen.

Use bagbalm post chaffe...other than that, I agree with the idea of a skin or better shirt. Mine are sensitive just looking at them, so I can relate (kinda)

i couldn't imagine running for 6 or 7 hours, but there are certain topical ointments that you could try using. they would numb the area...

Since I started distance running while weaning my son from breastfeeding (which means they were already toughened up, lol), I haven't had bleeding/chafed nipples... BUT... I got rubbed raw in other areas, especially the bra strap across the back. Now I don't run longer than 5 miles without some Body-Glide on spots prone to getting rubbed the wrong way. It's amazing stuff, protects even through a full marathon.
