Hey guys,
Since I can't get my hands on the 30 Day Shred as of yet I'm going to give Ripped in 30 a go. But before I do I just want to get a concern of mine out - After completing it I won't be some buff chick will I? I just want to be nice and toned haha. If that's the case I'll just not do it and wait for the 30DS. Also, I would like to know if those that have completed the Ripped in 30 would upload some before and after images for me? I just want to see how your bodies change that's all.
Thanks guys! Oh, and good luck to anyone that is currently doing it!

I've heard that ripped in 30 is a much more enjoyable program as it isn't so repetitive as 30 day shred, and it's broken into 4 levels instead of 3. I'm on day 9 of 30day shred and I am incredibly bored with it already! I'll finish it because I have made the commitment to do so, but I don't like doing 10 days of the same thing. It was challenging at first, but now I'm just bored and finding the whole thing un-enjoyable.
Ripped in 30 is also supposed to be more challenging, but by no means do I think you'll be muscle-man by the end of it :P. I have seen some before/after pics from it on this site and the results were impressive. Also, a common theme I keep hearing is that people tend to lose more inches than lbs. It seems to tone in just the right spots.0 -
Yeah I heard the same thing! May I ask where you purchased your 30DS from? I'm in Australia and I only seem to be able to find her other DVDs.
Hahah I hope not! I just saw a few pictures (not on here, mind you) where the end result was a pretty buff chick. I've only seen a few on here, hence why I'm asking others to post them so I can motivate myself more. You lose more inches than pounds because your body fat is turning into muscle. I really hope this works!0 -
Oh hey I'm in Australia too! I got mine off of ebay. If you have a multi-region dvd player you can get it much cheaper from overseas sellers.0

I'm going to go start Ripped in 30 right now (-: Don't worry - most women won't bulk up (be "buff") unless they spend a lot of hours working very heavy weights in the gym. Strong muscles doesn't mean bulky muscles! Women's bodies are designed with leaner muscle structure; we don't have enough testosterone to get crazy buff as a rule. Remember that muscle is much denser than fat, so the more muscles you switch out for fat the smaller you'll be - not bigger. Crazycakes muscles take a lot of purposeful effort for women to achieve, they won't sneak up on you. Go for it, and let us know how it goes!0

You wont bulk up at all lol, i am on week two of ripped in 30, and everything you do is using your own body weight. U only use weights for arms, and you pick the weights that you use... I use 5lbs, some people use more, but its really difficult for me using 10's.. good luck!0

My bootcamp coach says women dont bulk up like that unless they do extreme crazy weights and steriods. HAHA. I am starting the ripped in 30 program as well (I already did one class just to get a work out in on superbowl sunday). You'll have to let me know what you think about it. I should be starting on the 20th of February with the program.0

You have to eat at a calorie surplus and lift heavy to bulk up....0
