I used 3/4 cup CoCo Puffs (120 calories) instead of the 1/2 cup oatmill (150 calories) and they were delish. Who would think that CoCo Puffs are less calories than oatmill? HA! Thanks for posting it!

    This definitely sounds interesting.

I'm going to try it with PB2 instead of Jif - with baking cocoa powder instead of pkg of hot cocoa - and with granola instead of quick oats....and I may have to add 1 packet of Stevia in the Raw.

But it does sound like such a great quick snack! Thanks so much!

tried it and 4oz of quick oats is way WAY too much....i had to put extra peanut butter to try and hold it together and even then i had a lot of separated/leftover oats in the bowl.

instead of the hot chocolate mix, i used cocoa powder and vanilla extract.

but yeah, the proportions of oats:peanut butter just didnt work out.

ugh i just bought oats and ground some peanut butter at whole foods yesterday....i bought the rolled oats though, not quick..is that okay?

    can anyone answer the above

I think it will be fine.. I used a packet of Original instant oatmeal and it was good :)

Also, quick oats are rolled oats just "processed" slightly different.

Quick oats are rolled oats that have been steamed. If you use just rolled oats they will probably be a litter drier and need more peanut butter.
