Translating calories burned to miles?

Hi, thanks for reading...
Any one know how to estimate distance travelled from calories burned?
I track time and calories during my workouts but this week for a challenge I'm in I should be tracking distance (aiming for 25 miles). I use a variety of machines whatever is available, but mostly it's elliptical and treadmill/stair climber. Doesn't have to be exact and I'm happy to follow a link if there is a website that can help
Cheers

Well, there are a lot of variables, but I have read that you can average 100 cals per mile whether it's walking or running.
This is probably a reasonable estimate for your purpose.0 -
Thanks that's helpful0
