I second this, but also must add that triglycerides tend to go up when you eat a lot of sugar, including fruit unfortunately. So I would go plant based (like the Esselstyn Engine 2 Diet that Whole Foods encourages), and limit fruit to two servings a day. Also, cut out wine, if you drink it--lots of sugar calories.0 -

Take Omega3 and exercise a little. It worked for me, fast! My heart doctor recommended this.0
