Gym class confusion PLEASE HELP

So I need advice..... I am able to take 3 classes a week at the gym and I was wondering which would be the most beneficial in terms of weightloss. My options are: spinning/cycling OR body pump (an aerobics class with weights). I am doing my own thing each night (usually elliptical or TaeBo). Thoughts? suggestions? experiences? I would appreciate the help! Thanks guys :smile:

    If you're doing cardio on your own, then I would do Body Pump for some strength training. But I'm a little bias because I hate spinning, and body pump is my favorite class at the gym. :)

    Both! LOL!

    I know that's not horribly helpful, but both give you something that will help with your weight loss. Cardio is great for your heart, and strength is important to maintain muscle mass. If you had to choose one, based on the workouts you do at home, go for the body pump.

    I love spinning and body pump! Can you alternate them? You could always get free weights too from 5 Below and do some arm exercises at home!
