Yah, me and hubby each work out 6 days a week, so our pile of dirty (stinky!) exercise clothes is our biggest load as well. Means we're doing something right! Keep up the good work!!

lol yep! I notice in the mornings when I go to get dressed that I never seem to have time for jeans anymore. I'm a stay at home mom so I can get away with yoga pants or sweats most days. Gym Sat/Sun/Mon then Yoga Tues/Wed and swimming on Thurs ...Looks like Fridays are Jean Day's even for the unemployed lol

Or you live alone but yet have 25 towels in your basket! I was trying to figure out how I went through 25 towels.

I know what you mean! I used to do the laundry once in 2 weeks. Now I need twice a week for all my gym clothes.

One of my biggest exercise success things was carrying my duffel bag to and through the airport (it's a LOT of walking). I used to struggle with carrying the weight of it, and now it's a breeze! I felt so good when I noticed :-D

I work as a nurse, so I never wear jeans anymore, except for when I'm going out to lunch with friends, out to dinner with my boyfriend, or out to the mall to shop! LOL Which is very ironic, since part of the reason I'm trying to get in shape is to look better in my jeans!!!!

LOL. For me it's not only dedication towards working out, my clothes are now too big and I'm mostly retired so when I work it's out of my house. If it wasn't for workout clothes I'd have to wear a towel.

hahaha, not even that, but about 1/2 my clothing is exercise attire, I own more exercise bottoms than I do jeans!

Definitely.. about to go wash a pile now. And I seem to shop for exercise attire more now.... it used to be fancy lingerie...now it's sports bras.
  • So true! I have definitely noticed this lately and it feels GOOD!! :)
  • I had to buy a small bureau JUST for my walking/work-out gear. :-)

I can relate to the laundry thing. which reminds me of a funny story that happened at my old gym before I joined my local YMCA.

Lady approaches me : "Excuse me? Sorry to interrupt you but I need help with the treadmill."
Me: "Umm I don't use the treadmill much ma'am."
Lady: "Oh that's strange I thought they trained the staff with all the equipment here"
Me: "I don't work for the gym."
Lady: "But I see you in here all the time..."

Haha, that's AWESOME though! I definitely see regulars at my gym (the YMCA as well, incidentally). I hope someday people see me as a regular ;)
  • I'm considering chipping in extra to our power bill to pay for the extra laundry I end up doing due to spending 5 days a week at the gym. (Of course, my housemates constantly leave the lights on downstairs ALL NIGHT long, so I'm guessing it even outs...) Luckily hot water is included in our rent!

HAHA! Yes, yes, yes... between my husband and I, there's more sports bras (for me, obviously), gym shorts, old t-shirts and yoga pants than I knew we EVER had
  • Pretty funny....as I sit here on a Saturday night...DOING LAUNDRY so I have workout clothes for tomorrow!!! Ha! Ha!
