What is it about snow on the roads that causes this to happen instantaneously?

Of course, snow on the roads isn't the only cause...I'm sure we all know people who suffer from this disorder on a regular basis.0

See it all the time here in Colorado. :indifferent:0 -

It is strange but I see it quite often as well.0

Someone changing a flat tire on the side of the road, half of the passerby's slow to take a look!0

LOL - really didn't know what this was about 'til I came in.
When I'm driving in treacherous weather I like to leave a bigger safety margin between me and the vehicle in front. Some *kitten* usually decides to frequent that space after roaring up in the outside lane at 80, so I end up dropping back further.0 -

Someone did that to the guy behind me this morning. He was being safe & leaving about 2-3 car lengths between him & me. Then this fakata asshat flips his/her blinker on and cuts right in front of him and I mean RIGHT in front...missed him by maybe an inch and caused him to slam on his breaks and flip on his high beams. Like the dumbass couldn't have scooted up a bit & NOT cut him off...scared the crap out of me and I was in front of all this.0 -
Never fails. Snow around here brings out two hazards:
1) Invincible soccer-mom in 4WD or AWD SUV with the attitude of "Get out of my way, I've got 4WD/AWD and I'm not stopping for anything" or think they can drive just as fast as they want because of the 4WD/AWD
2) Invincible guy in jacked up 4WD with the attitude of "Get out of my way, I've got 4WD/AWD and I'm not stopping for anything" or think they can drive just as fast as they want because of the 4WD/AWD

Same here...and like a friend of mine says..."It's 4-wheel drive...not 4-wheel STOP." Seeing those numbnuts stuck on the side of the road after they've zoomed by you doing 90 warms my heart a little on cold days...:bigsmile:0 -
