Your grocery list must haves?

I'm a terrible shopper...partially because I don't (can't?) cook, so I don't really know what to buy to put together a meal.
What are some items on your weekly grocery must have list?

fresh fruit - apples, bananas, oranges, berries
veggies - tomatoes, peppers, pickles
cottage cheese, yogurt, salad, cheese, whole wheat pasta0 -
my must haves - kashi 7 grain granola bars - dark chocolate cherry
- Kashi Go Lean Crunch
- 500 mL Boxed soups - great for on the go, and soup bases
- great with add ins like fresh veggies.
- chicken breasts
- cream of mushroom soup concentrate (great for baking chicken breasts in and good for cooking rice with - add 2 cups of water to half a can of soup)
- Spinach, any vinegrette, almond slivers/slices, craisins, feta cheese - AWESOME salad0 -
and yeah of course fresh fruits and veggies, cut them up or some of them at least when you get home from the store - great snacks0

slim fast shake powder (it's the only way I actually end up eating breakfast...I don't like food in the morning, lol)

I like to make out a list of meals I plan to make and get my grocery list from there. I plan anywhere from 2 weeks to a month. It really helps and saves money.0 -
Bananas, Grapes, Apples, strawberries, almonds, wholewheat pasta, salmon fillets, chicken breasts, prawns, lettuce, cucumber, red bell peppers, herbs, eggs, brocolli, sweetcorn, green beans, chick peas, wholemeal bread rolls.

I don't get all of this every time, but I generally have a lot of these around.
Produce: Usually whatever is in season. I get a lot of berries, plums, nectarines and bananas. I also get salad fixins a lot.
Turkey deli meat
Peanut Butter (natural)
Whole grain breads (Arnold's has a flax n fiber bread I have been using)
Joseph's roasted red pepper hummus
Joseph's whole-grain tortillas with flax (LOVE these)
Whole grain rices for a pinch. (I like the Near East brand)
Whole-wheat or whole-grain pasta
Pasta sauce
Baked potatoes/sweet potatoes
Chicken breast and thighs
Chicken sausages
Cereal (Kashi, Fiber One and Trader Joe's are my staples)
Oatmeal
Yogurt
Cottage cheese
2% cheese (cheddar, etc)
Fiber One Bars
Eggo Light Nutrigrain Waffles
Thomas light multi-grain english muffins
Eggs (or egg whites)
Frozen veggies (I always keep my freezer stocked with broccoli, spinach, etc)
I also like some of the Morningstar Farms products. Chick Patties, Spicy Black Bean Burgers and the Asian patties.
Mccains oven roasted potatoes are great too and the Alexia oven baked red potato wedges.
