New meal/ food ideas anyone??
Hello all- I am a vegetarian and have been eating the same things for far too long- dry cereal in the am, salad w no fat dressing at dinner, occasionally I'll try some tofu- but I haven't found a way to marinate it that I care for- anyone have meal ideas, tofu/ salad recipes? Anything is appreciated- even different types of cereal you have tried or trail mixes, etc must be low calories- the fewer the better!! Thanks!

Can you eat vege hotdogs? Mushroom hamburgers? Try Whole foods and take your time walking through the aisles. Thats how i found diff types of meals cus i get so bored easily so i feel you. Try the health food stores and farmers markets. I made sum vege spaghetti the other day and it was awesome!

Try portabella mushroom caps marinated in red wine and then stuff them with things like cooked spinach and tomatoes and top with a little feta. Then bake them for about 30 minutes at 350. I made these last night and oh man were they good, filling, and only like 300 calories. Pair it with some quinoa and you have a perfect meal!0

Make spaghetti squash with organic marinara. My whole dinner filled my plate, and I was so full I couldn't finish it, for a total of about 70 calories!0

Look up recipes featuring portobello mushrooms! They are tasty sauteed in wraps or the caps bbqed in place of burgers. If you eat eggs/dairy you might try some Fritattas and Omelettes, too.0

I generally have quite a few vegetarian (no tofu) recipes in my menu each week. You're welcome to any of them. I post them all here: www.RillsMenu.com
And some other sites I go poking around for ideas and direction:
