Paradigm. Whenever someone uses it I immediately ask them to define it (as long as they're not higher up on the food chain then i am.) have yet to get a coherent definition - always more of a "well, I know it when I see it,"

    thinking outside the square
    moving forward

seriously, it doesn't make you sound businessy, smart, manager material, it just makes you sound dull and unimaginative for copying the "business" phrase...

"Arks" as in Arks me a question - The word is ASK

makes me think humanity is doomed

My boss says this ALL the time. I'm sure she's not referring to a wooden boat full of animals. She also says "pacific" instead of "specific".

Funny that we are both from the UK, perhaps its just this side of the pond that the fools say it. haha

Not so much had it since my move to England but, at a certain international investment bank in Glasgow, my boss would always say "Charlie, can you talk to that please?" Usually said during a meeting where what he meant was "Charlie, can you please talk us through that, give an update, etc" Oh my god, it used to really boil my p*ss!!!:explode:

My fiance says suspicioned all the time. I just want to scream "It's suspected!!" I've corrected him before but it didn't help.

    I also can't stand just sayin' & right-as in I know, right?

Saying the letter "H" as "hay-tch." IE, the NHL would be "En hay-tch el."

When I worked at an animal hospital and people spelled their name with a letter "hay-tch" in it, my brain totally shut down. I had to ask them to spell it at least three times.

    "Jelly" in place of "Jealous"
"Prego" or "preggers" in place of "Pregnant."

Hadn't heard Jelly, but every time somebody says any of the pregnant variations, it makes me want to strangle some spaghetti.

The "jelly" one drives me batty!!!!! I HATE it!! I would love nothing more that to turn the silly little Kardashian Valley girl wanna be's INTO jelly when I hear one say it.

    "axe" instead of "ask"
    "Libary" instead of "Library"
    "compruter" for "computer"
    "pacific" for "specific"

These are a few of my (least) favorite things..........

    Like

As in, like, when people can't complete a sentence without, like, inserting 'like' every few words. It gets to be, like, a real pain in the, like, butt....
