this is not so related to fitness, but I want to hear opinions from moms out there, which cell phone you have and the reasons you like it. I am a busy mom and nowdays, you can utilize cell phones to really organize your every day busyness or business. So give me some ideas, which and why, I appreciate it!

iPhone all the way, I'd be lost without mine! Thousands of apps to help you with absolutely anything, music on hand, google maps, face-time....can't praise it highly enough.0

Not a parent myself, but all my friends who are moms have iPhones. They will use the apps for themselves, and if needed hand off to the kiddo to entertain themselves while they eat at a restaurant.0

My wife, who is a Mom, and I, who is not but is a Dad, have iPhones. Absolutely the way to go. We used to have Android phones before Sprint started selling the iPhones, and it is a million times better.0

not a mom, but hands down an iphone.0

love my iphone. I put everything in it. It's my alarm clock, calender, mfp log, tracks my runs, my grocery list, facebook, email, etc... It has everything. And I love siri.0

I evaluate and support mobile phones where I work. I'm currently using a BlackBerry Torch (model 9850) and love it. I use it for email, text messages, IM, calendar appts (for both work and home), keeping notes (grocery lists!), and have the MyFitnessPal app on it.
I also have an iPhone for work, but don't use it as much since I'm not an 'apps' person. iPhone is better at apps (and there are a LOT more than BB or even Android) but I don't miss not having a ton of apps on my BB.
That said, if you want to use the MyFitnessPal app on your phone to log food on the go, get either an iPhone or Android device. You can scan barcodes of food to add to your food diary with those devices and can't do that with the BB.0 -
Seriously, I just got my first iPhone at lunch today. I'm really kicking myself for not giving in and getting one sooner. Very easy/user friendly and I'm checking out all the free games I can add for my kids.0

My wife and I (mom and dad) love our iPhones.0

much love for the iPhone
Best piece of advice I have? Get an otterbox defender for it! It WILL save your phone's life. They come in a million color combos on ebay, and for only about $35, they are the best insurance available!!!!0 -
iphone iphone iphone :-)0

The iPhone for everyone for every reason. And is someone that doesn't own an iPhone tells you their phone is better? Don't believe them. They have no idea what they're talking about!0

Android....cheaper than the iphone, and they don't charge for things google already gives you for free.0

not really into apple or the Iphone, my husband and I bolth have g2 from HTC, love it, get simlar apps as the iphone plus some that the iphone doesn't get plus you can download the mfp app. Plus it has a full key board which I love because I hate typing on touch screens. Plus I don't have to worry about what Im trying to send to people being corrected by auto-correct.0

**Hiss** at the Apple fans.
I had the very first iPhone when it came out. It was a fun toy but am a fan of the Android phones. More options, more free apps for what I want etc.
I currently use the Samsung Galaxy S2 and it. I use it for everything I can think of. Of all the phones I've had (and I have had MANY phones...I'm a cell geek) ranging from iPhone to Blackberry to Android, this is the one phone I'm not already waiting for the newest one to replace it.0 -

iPhone all they way. I've had an iPhone (started with the 3G) for 3 years now, and I cannot imagine life without it. So many great apps and I LOVE having my music right there on my phone!0

I beg to disagree.
Hubs and I both had iPhones (2, 3, 4 and 4S) for approx 4 years. I won't lie. I definitely felt that way about the iPhone when I had it. However, when my 4S was stolen, I couldn't afford to buy another one at full price and ended up with an Android. 6 months later I'm in love with my 'Droid, can't imagine life without it, and don't miss my iPhone at all.
Granted, that could just be because I enjoy saying "to the googles!" whenever I need info and we have the Samsung/Google Nexus S and Samsung/Google Galaxy Nexus phones now Also doesn't hurt that many of the apps that I paid for on my iPhone are free on my Droid. Finally while my usage is heavier than it was a year ago, I was able to significantly reduce my data plan. I don't know what it's doing in the background, but the iPhone is a HUGE data hog when you compare task-for-task actions between iPhones (at least the v3 and v4) and Droids.0 -
Don't even look at anything besides an iPhone!
Trust me!!!!

Android all the way I have a calender that puts everything into an agenda for me I have so many apps that I love I even get my appointments that I book for my clients on it. So I am never out of touch with the texting email, and phone you can always get a hold of me and I always know what my day holds for me.0

The calendar alone for android should be a selling point for busy parents. My wife and I share our calendars on our Droid Razr's. If she changes something or adds an appointment it's automatically synced with my phone. Of course the down fall, now, is that I have no excuse for saying I forgot, or I didn't know.0 -
Great responses, thank you all!! I do have iTouch, so I know how the apps can be so helpful, and apple product is so easy to use. somone made a good comment about apple product hog alot of data usage, also a bit expensive , good point.
how about siri? do you iphone owners, utilize Siri a lot? I know my friends who bought iPhone 4S, first used SIRI but not longer utilizing it. Other phones has voice activated function as well but not like SIRI.0 -
I have an older Andriod HTC Eris and its great. I espically love the app for MFP. I would like to get a newer Android that is faster but most of the new Andriod phones are HUGE now0

WRONG !
I had Android, and for years went out of my way to avoid Apple and the iPhone.
Recently broke down and got one.
All I kept saying to myself was WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG.
There is no comparison.
IPHONE ALL THE WAY, everything else is crap.0 -
