When I used to comb out my Golden, our joke was we had enough fur piled up to make a new dog.

Sometimes it actually WAS exercise, in that I had to chase him all over the house once he saw the brush in my hand.

what a beautiful dog!!! we have a german shepherd and that's what it looks like after we brush him, too. we have a tool called a furminator and it's AWESOME!!!! but it's quite a chore to keep him still and brush through all of that :)

OMG! My kids would DIE with there allergies. You must clean out your air filter all the time. Yep you should count it!

that is adorable!! I wish my dog would sit still long enough to let me brush him. He looks lazy in my photo but he can be so hyper, especially when it comes to bathing!

I have a Persian, and combing him should probably be logged as wrestling...or maybe cage fighting.

I have a husky/golden mix. The gobs of hair that come off her could probably be woven into an afghan or something. Beautiful dog!

No...but the dog gets to lose weight.

We have a shepherd-husky cross and a German Shepherd that both shed like that..... we vacuum daily.

Luckily the lab-border collie cross keeps his hair....mostly
