Since poached eggs are cooked without any oil or butter, I would think they would be fine. And tastier.0

i do scrambled, or sunnyside up/fried, and dont use any oil or butter. eat them however you like i dont have the patience to do poached.0

I eat eggs and I make them a couple of ways. Either a pan fried egg or I make scrambled eggs or an omlete. When I make them scrambled or an omlete I usually use one whole egg and then 3 or 4 egg whites. I use the whole egg because I like it to have the yellow color and the yolk is a good source of protein. Sometimes I add things like a crumbled piece of bacon in the eggs so I can have both.0

I fry eggs sometimes in olive oil, sometimes with a little butter.
Make em how you want, log what you're eating. If it fits in your log and allowance then ENJOY!0 -
I eat eggs every morning! Love 'em.
I like them over easy with an english muffin to dip in the yolks.
Some weeks though I use egg whites, which are just as tastey!0 -
Scrambled egg whites in a pan sprayed with PAM & add 1 mushroom, 1 TBSP onion, 1/8c tomato, 1/8c green pepper & occasionally a little fresh baby spinach. Wrap it up in a low carb/whole wheat tortilla with 2 TBSP pico. A restaurant worthy breakfast burrito.0

Poached eggs are my favourite. Sometimes for an extra treat I will have them with smoked salmon and avocado - yum!0

Twp poached eggs cooked but with the yolk stil a bit runny in a bowl. Wheat toast torn into bite sized pieces with a bit of salt and black pepper are the best. My grandparents ate them all the time and lived to be 94 and 99 years old.0

I scramble in the microwave. Just spray bowl with nonstick spray, then cook 30 seconds, stir, then stir every 15 seconds until done. Great on whole wheat toast and low fat cheese.0

I'm doing a Primal diet so my standard breakfast is to throw some real pastured butter in a cast iron skillet, throw in some spicy sausage and brown. Beat 3 organic omega 3 eggs and pour all over the sausage. Cook for a few minutes then throw in the broiler to cook the top. At the last minute, I'm sprinkle some mozzerella and blue cheese crumbles over the top and put back under the broiler to melt.
And I have lost over 30 lbs! :-)
I love this diet!0 -
i love scrambled eggs, lately ive been using egg beaters 35 calories per egg, which is good because when i fix eggs ive been known to eat up to 5 at a time. at times i will add cheese but most times its just a dash of pepper and a splash of olive oil or canola oil in the pan to keep them from sticking.0

I eat eggs nearly every morning for breakfast. I always fix them over medium using a nonstick pan and a little butter flavored pam cooking spray.0

i love eggs too. i bought a really tiny non stick skillet the other day and i LOVE it for eggs. its probly no bigger than 4 inches in diameter. it works well for my oatmeal pancakes too.
i usually use one serving of egg whites (sometimes 2) and one whole egg; i add things to it like mushrooms spinach tomatoes... the other day i made a pizza omelet (sp). yum-o!0 -
yup! poached well are good but i try not to eat too much yolk. it holds most cals and all cholesterol.0

Hello I really don't care for egg yolks but I found if you put a few spinach leaves into the frying pan and then add a few egg whites it's very taste breakie .0

I eat 2 eggs most mornings, usually over-hard, sometimes in an omlet. Just use a little cooking spray (or a good non-stick pan) and make them almost anyway you want. Keep in mind if you fry in butter or oil, you will be adding extra calories0

Many thanks for all the responses guys - cant wait for breakfast!0

I bought two cheap plastic egg cookers at the grocery store and they work great in the microwave. One is to cook the egg like it's fried or poached. The other one is to make an omelet. You beat the eggs up and pour them in with any veggies you want to add.0

@Shelby814....your breakfast burrito sounds terrific! I just bought some fresh eggs from a roadside stand yesterday and will crack on open this morning and make your recipe!0

Pat of real butter, 3 medium eggs, pepper, salt substitute. Side of salsa or swiss cheese and a banana. That's usually my breakfast every morning.
Comes in between 230 and 270 cals. Super simple and delish.0 -

Just finished a 2 egg omelet with organic baby spinach leaves and pico de gallo. A little salt and pepper beaten in and cooked in a good non-stick pan and a spritz of butter flavored pam. Had a serving of carving board ham along with it and I am a happy Katt right now. Total meal calories : 3040
