Bowling

So, this may seem obvious to some, but... If I bowl tonight, and it takes about three hours, how much time do I log if there are four people to a team? I was thinking 45 minutes (3 hours, divided by four), because the whole three hours seems a bit high. Thoughts?

are you considering this as cardio?0 -
Yes, but only because I have my diary set to sedentary. I'm CERTAIN it burns more calories than walking around my classroom all day at work (I teach 7th grade) which I do not count.0

thats what I did when I went bowling. Bc we are doing something we do not usually do and even though you will probably not be sweating (bc I am assuming this is just for fun) it does burn calories. HAVE FUN TONIGHT0

I personally wouldn't log it. BUT if I were going to, I'd only log 30 minutes. It only takes about 1 minute +/- to actually bowl x 10 frames x 3 games = 30 minutes.0 -

You'd be surprised actually!
I got a fit bit just because I had a "feeling" that I was burning more calories than I thought I was.
I never realized that I have a tendency to pace when I am on phone calls, and I am on the phone for most of the day. Pacing helps me clear my head and think better. I was burning about 500 more calories per day than I thought I was.
My point is-depending how many times you are running back and forth for pizza, a new ball, how many frames you toss, and your distance from those activities to your lane, you can burn quite a few calories.
Of course, beer and pizza consumption probably more than wiped out those gains0
