Spartan Beast Race

Hi All,
I'm planning to do the Spartan Beast Race in Utah on June 30. Never doing anything like this before. I'm excited and also very nervous. Any suggestion on how to prepare for this? To those who have done this, what did you do to prepare? What types of obstacles were there?
Quick break of what I'm already doing:
60 mins cardio 4-5 times a week
1 day with Personal trainer
2 days by myself with weights from routines giving to me by trainer

  • cardio should be concentrated on hills and upper body endurance
    weight training should grduate you to pulls ups and then hand over hand on the hanging monkey bars
