Help Cooking Asparagus

olive oil spray, lemon pepper, &garlic powder. Bake on 400 for 15 minutes. It's DELICIOUS!0

I cut the whole bunch in 2-3" pieces. Steam in a wok (of deep fry pan) in some water for about 5 mins ( cover until softish)...
add 2 cloves of garlic minced
add about 2-3 cups of fresh bean sprouts and more water to steam them all up (cover)
add ½ tbsp of low sodium soya sauce and cover with fresh baby spinach.
steam it all up and you are ready too serve
(Just make sure that you never let your pan lose water and most of the soya sauce will stay mixed with the water at the bottom of your bowl.)0 -
I saute with a little olive oil, chicken bullion and lemon juice.0

I spread them out in a single layer on a cookie sheet, spray them lightly with EVOO, then sprinkle with a little salt and pepper. 425ºF for 20-25 minutes. They're crispy and delicious - I like them better than french fries!0

I sautee mine in a pan with olive oil then I top it with a small amount of parmesan cheese. Or I use a ziplock steamer bag and steam it with water and some I can't believe it's not butter0

I also like to bake it. I will use olive oil, garlic powder and a sprinkle of reduced fat parmesan cheese.0 -
I broil with some lemon juice and salt. MMMmm now I'm craving asparagus!0

snap the ends off, don't cut them.....
preheat 1/4 cup oil per bundle, and cook 4 cloves garlic per bundle in the oil on low temp, to extract the oil out of the garlic. Pour the oil(i use olive oil) over the asparagus that is placed on a cookie sheet. Toss around a bit to make sure the spears get all covered. Cook for 10-15 mins @400, time depends on thickness of spears. When out of oven, top off with grated parmesean cheese, pepper, and a some lemon juice. People request me to make these ALL the time, especially for cook outs0 -
I snap mine, then steam them. When they are about done I squeeze fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with a little sea salt. In the summer if I am grilling, I put the spears on the grill grate (crosswise so they don't fall through) and cook them. I add the lemon juice right at the end then too because it give it a caramelized texture to the outside. Delish!0

I'VE MADE THEM ON THE GEORGE FOREMAN GRILL, COAT THE GRILL WITH NONSTICK BUTTER FLAVORED SPRAY, SPRAY THE SPEARS TOO AND COAT WITH SEA SALT & PARMESAN CHEESE, TURN THEM AFTER A FEW MINUTES, I LOVE THE WAY VEGGIES TASTE ON THE GRILL, GIVES IT A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TASTE! DELISH, ENJOY!0

I either steam it in my steamer or my favorite I wrap it in aluminum foil with some olive oil and garlic and put it on the grill...YUMMO!0

My favorite: sautee with a little bit of butter, granulated garlic, and a tad of salt. Add salt and granulated garlic when the asparagus is almost done. I haven't tried it with olive oil, but that might work too- for stir-fries I use an oil mister (refillable, pump-air pressure driven) it'sa great way to get oil right where you need it and helps cut down total amount used.

Spray cookie sheet with Pam lay the asparagus single layer down. (After you snap bottoms off) Drizzle with olive oil 1 tablespoon and do any kind of seasonings like garlic pepper, etc. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15-20mins. Mmmm!0

The olive oil spray with sauteed asparagus (with salt and granulated garlic) worked great last night! I clocked my oil sprayer at 1g per 5 seconds, found out the olive oil was 11g per Tablespoon, so my 5 second blast only added 10 calories!0
